    Still something up with it.

It kills my Logitech 2.4GHz wireless for the keyboard and mouse every time I open ISI page with live servers on it sooner or later K/B locks.

I tested 4 hours never opened rF2 site never locked K/B

As soon as I open it bam.

Also I think you have some cache or memory problem in live racers if you go back and forth from replays and or garage a lot I get a hard lock.

Never had this happen before LR .

Since the LR-Update I only had one very small lag, when somebody joined a session. But I can live well with the current settings ;-)

Well, whatever was done to fix the problems on the historic server is not working. Same as before, lockup of rfactor and people missing.

I had some big lags yesterday on the Touring server (Clio), when there were about 25 drivers.
So LR is not the only problem, cause the Touring server is not running with the LR plugin...

I've been occasionally entering these servers and just as I get in, my game crashes to desktop. Is this the lockup you are experiencing as well? I almost reinstalled rFactor yesterday.

The lockups happen on track or while waiting for the race to start. Has only happened on the historic server.

    How's the lag going guys?

Interested to hear if it was just regular resets or maybe some admin-tweaks/alterations/different routines also helped?

I think Dave is out of action for a bit. Tweet me when they need restarting.

Civic Server is all over the show for me today. When the race starts (20+ players) the whole grid disappears and then randomly re-appear all over the place causing massive pile ups.

whats the convention on restarting (races i mean, not servers)?

had a few times on civic servers (20 odd guys) when end of qual session, loads of people CTD. by the time you get back in, its race session and you cant join.

the guys racing just plough on and ignore all suggestions that we restart, even though 7/8 people have clearly crashed to desktop and they have not even had the green light. even the pole sitter couldn't rejoin

such a waste of time for those who crash out after a full session of qual.

In communities/leagues there are usually set rules for this. in ours for example we don't do restarts in official races as experience told us that once you restart, there is always someone else whom suffers. (1 guy disco's/restart/2 others disco/crash)

In public races its up to the mercy of the drivers but the same principle is there, there's usually peeps suffering from restarts and where good the first time.

But since this build there's a Restart-warmup button in the voting options, it keeps qualifying results and I think people should use this more often. its a pretty nifty tool.
Provided that voting is setup with the correct values (60% I believe) so the majority rules.

In public racing however a restart is never a guarantee it will be ok the next time. so if anything you have to be lucky to be on a server with peeps whom are using common sense :)

    annoying though

the civic servers with 20+on it are a real nightmare though

kangaroo cars, magic disappearing/reappearing cars, crippling tyre smoke FPS...

i want to race these cars but its just no fun with it running so poorly

I wonder how the default install of rf2 addresses the bandwidth ? I mean ,does it test your conx and set it up properly ? I think not .. I remember in earlier builds the default setting was ISDN .if you failed to manually adjust your bandwidth to your proper connection/bandwidth up/down you were stuck with this ISDN and horrible lag was everywhere on the servers .. remember ??

perhaps not all players have set the proper bandwidth and the result is the ciaos we now have ??

IDK .. yesterday on the pub servers i saw the flying cars and also rubber-banding at the starts .. cars going backwards while the position data caught up then banding back to the original position ..

All i can say is it seems pretty bad !
