Legends-League.com would like to welcome all drivers to join us November 24th, 19:00GMT, for an afternoon/evening of racing!
For this weekend we've selected ISI's Williams JPH1B Formula 2 series car, a modern high grip formula open wheeler that provides plenty of excitement yet are surprisingly easy to learn and control. For those who may have tried the 'big boys' of open wheelers and found them a bit intimidating, Legends League encourages you to join us for a day of fun in these 'little brother' cars.

No teamspeak I'm afraid. We had one a few years back but it just never was used enough so over time it faded away.

Marvin, is there anything we can help you with. If you need a setup just ask, a lot of us are using different controller settings for the Formula Two mod.

This F2 car needs some tweaks to get things done, here's a setup from one of our guys, its pretty great and much much better then the default (mainly ride height and steering angle)

It's a shame that a problem of server regulation not allow everyone to race.
And admins does not care about, marvelous.

Capeta I think you are misunderstanding what happened tonight, it was a mod-issue, not an admin/server issue. or at least that is what we suspect.
it was an unforeseen issue and I will report it to ISI as a bug.

By no means we where able to influence this other then telling drivers to try a different car. maybe next time more looking for tips in chat and less whining?

Tim!!! you are the event winner mate :)
I was going to publish results but because of above issues the server xml are fubar and wont display anything. too much going on in them to fix it.
But you where pretty frigging great tonight, well done :)

May I ask what you do in Okinawa? Is it something with the army or do you actually live on an island in the middle of the pacific for fun? Because that would be awesome :D

I'm not in Okinawa, i'm in Holland. don't even know why I put that there, its a habit I think from back in the days. and I don't even know why I did it back then either...

So yeah. how's that for an answer :p

I tryied to use someone settings in plr file but didnĀ“t work.

Holland reminds you off ffb settings? :p

I didn't fix the 'known' ffb settings for this mod as described in the Formula2 thread but I could tone down the rattling with ffb smoothing. I had it set as 1 and going 10 or even 20 reduced the rattling of my G27 enough to be able to race.
I'm still not convinced though, don't think I flatspotted in last nights races so it might return. But the rattling on curbs is much less now for sure.

I think Timpie had the same issue, he flatspotted and got some bad rattling during race2.

FFB strength did nothing other then making the whole thing weak.

Yup but like I said, what's the point of the feature if you ignore it with FFB smoothing :p Then it teaches you nothing :D
I keep it at 0 and alltho its a bit annoying on curbs, I'm now alot more carefull on the brakes and rarely lock up anymore. The flatspot during that race was because I had to avoid a spinning car in Maggots which also send me into a half spin because of the sudden steering angle I had to put on so I stomped on my brakes to stop the car spinning further. I think it's a great feature of rF2 how dynamic the entire driving experience can be during a race going from weather, different grip on the track, flatspots, obviously tirewear, ...
I think the only thing missing is the tires that can get dirty from marbles etc put apart from that rF2 is in a class of its own when it comes to track dynamics.

The point is to not have to buy a new wheel every month, the rattling was that bad :)
