Today we are happy to release ................info J/K, thanks for the update. Always great to see historic content grow Edit - Great video also. Will be fun to take these cars on Symmons!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah these cars are great fun, and they've never been in a game before (the couple we're currently doing that will go out with this one). The main issue is references, it is very hard to find references of these cars so some things we have to improvise when it comes to the interior. But we will update accordingly as we find anything that is wrong in the future (if anything).
Hey all, After talking to our artists, we thought we'd do something similar as we did with the Classic Cars mod. For those of you that don't know, what we did was allowed the community to let us know what cars they wanted, and we made a few (Porsche 962C and Sauber C11). Well now with Touring Cars being so popular in the community but no one really covering them, we would like to know what cars you, the community would love to see in this mod. The vehicles can be from any year of the categories listed below. If you see someone has posted the vehicle you like, don't leave your thoughts out, tell us that you agree with a previous vehicle posted, this will help us see how many want the same vehicle etc. We're looking at possibly making some of the vehicles the community really wants to see, so this is your chance to be a part of helping shape the content for this mod. Be sure to post photos with your car selections in your reply and also state which series your choices are from. The categories we accept cars from are below, can be from any year. ATCC - Australian Touring Car Championship STW - Super Touring Cars BTCC - British Touring Car Championship JTCC - Japanese Touring Car Championship WTCC - World Touring Cars Championship ETCC - European Touring Cars Championship DTM - Deutsche Touring Masters V8S - V8 Supercars You can also pick current season vehicles, the entire objective of the mod is to fill it with content that we would enjoy to play within the virtual environment. We look forward to seeing what cars you all want to see.
I've always found the DTM Alfa 155 to be pretty cool. http://www.supercars.net/cars/4156.html http://www.race-cars.com/carsold/other/1221655029/1221655029ss.htm
Well if you're open to suggestions then here's the two cars i've always dreamed to drive in rFactor: Gr. A R32 GT-R, Calsonic or Taisan from JTCC. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lrjyciXq5l1r2p4jfo1_1280.jpg http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/a9/bc/cf/a9bccfb6a203d6458610e77b952d2902.jpg Mugen Motul Civic 1987 from JTCC: https://s-media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/1f/42/65/1f4265754b5c1179cf98652bb764872b.jpg Anyway old touring cars are all welcome, they are always fun to drive. And i can only agree on the 155 and Calibra.
Alfa Romeo 155 ftw BTCC 1994 or DTM 1993 perhaps? Or a 1996 spec 155 to go with this one: The 1994 Alfa Romeo BTCC could go with this one: I think Rickard Rydell drove the 850 estate the same year I have always preferred to have at least 2 different cars from the same car class to compete with each other.
All our classes will have multiple cars indeed, we feel the same way too! Though we'll release each car or a pack of cars as they get done instead of waiting for everything to be done. This will give you guys a car to play with while others keep getting done and released. We feel that system is far better than waiting until the entire mod content is complete which can take a very long time.
I suspect I wouldn't be alone in requesting accurate, Mak Corp-quality models of 1992 DTM: '92 cars were among the best looking racing cars in history in my humblest of opinions; the M3s were running 18" wheels with larger arches, and... well, just look at the Merc! Even if it seems obvious to everyone, I'd still like to put this formal request in
Haha, now I know where my logos are going to be used for Contact me as soon as possible Petros, we still have a lot of logos to create!
