First we need to know what car is this, i gues is most probably old open wheeler like brabham BT20(maybe even new "old" classic), so is naturally to assume, that track is historic. From this asumption next is around 300km/h on two straights with shicane in the midle, so as car is at full gas a few seconds at those straights, this mean quite long straights but probably not a longest as old open wheelers need a bit more(like 100-200m) to accelerate to max speed compared to modern ones. First straight seems to me a bit wrapped, as there is full gas but engine strugle a bit. Then short after that wrapp comes deceleration to first shicane, and after that again long straight. In the end of it there is slow but not to closed corner, and there is gradual long acceleration on long exit out of corner(i gues is double corner by the sound of mannaging gas pedal).
Are you talking about the car in the teaser? Because I'm pretty sure that the car in that video is a modern formula 3.5
Yes, about teaser. Well you are probably right, but there is still two long straights(now in case of formula 3.5 probably even longer from what i assume with old open wheeler) but circuit is not necessary historic anymore
Let's all post our visual creations! This is what I came up with, starting from the straight on the left. It's probably very inaccurate, but I hope you all enjoy my paintskills. View attachment 18946
Entry in double corner(if exist ofcourse ) close gradually more and more and exit out of it is also more curved and longer i think. That make corner a lot more complicated to draw
Which makes me wonder.. How do we know it's not Monza? I've seen 2 people online say it's suzuka, which seems more and more possible the more I try to visualize it. On the other side, I'll proudly call my drawing a piece of art if it's monza
For me it sounds like Suzuka with the Dallara DW 12. Video starts before the 130R, then the chicane followed by a nearly full lap, which ends before 130R.
Hope ISI and Suzuka developers enjoyed my wrong part of assumptions and ask themself why this guy just don't want to look at damn TGM
I'm thinking about the video interruptions... Like was in the past when camera car failed when car passed through a tunnel, for example Montecarlo... Could be an useful input for you? What do you think? Anyway... A good Suzuka could be more than welcome
THAT! Exactly that. My bet is we are getting DW12 and SC first, then maybe Megane and sth else updated (my bet on Civic) and then Super GT GTR and HOPEFULLY Speed 8. Those two would make me drop out from university. I mean really..
GT500 at Suzuka, for sure. Some of latest released tracks came with GT500 screens and sound is not far from that if I'm not mistaken.
Sorry for OT: DW12 update? Haven't seen or heard of anything on a DW12 update, as it's been one of the most up to date cars in the game. Their are lots of other cars that need updates (Historic F1s!!). All though it would be nice if the DW12 got the updated aero kits with physics to boot. Unless there was an agreement between ISI and URD to use the URD 2015. As for the other previously announced cars, I will reserve that for a different thread. Back to topic: With previous ISI Track team previews including the Super GT GTR, I would assume that car is almost ready. So a 3PA with Reiza again ( ) with "Kansai" being converted to rF2 seems likely, as that seems to be the consensus of what track was in the audio preview.
