That's true, but in the Marussia mod 3.0, the files do work...... Also; it doesn't explain why I can install a selfmade mod, but it doesn't show up in the game to select.
maybe the makers of f1rft2013 will fix or update the talent. Can someone out there help us and turn a good mod into the best mod.
Ha! I did it! Just a test for now, but I gave Vettel very low performance and Bottas very high; in practice it's almost unnoticeable, but in Quali and race, it stands out. Bottas comes up and Vettel is in a 18 lap race 1 or 2 laps behind. Now I know it works, I can adjust the file; some work to do. Also; I didn't test this to the fullest because when it worked last night, it was way past bedtime If you guys would like to use it when I'm done (may take some days) I'll send them to you right after I ask permission by the maker of the mod. Why? Well, I build the road to Rome, but in order to do that, I had to build Rome itself in the process I had to make a whole new mod........it's their mod, with just another talent file in the end, so I have to ask. Let me know if you would like the file. You have to uninstall the old file in order to get it working, so you loose that. I don't alter the other files anyway, so all is the same.
I can, yes. However; I made it working now but it's (for sure) not the easiest or the right way. We may come to the situation where people start "shouting" at me because of the fact I am telling it wrong I don't mind, just what the most guys want, let me know.
Okay, first test done; it's "okay" but not fully. There is somewhat of a "gambling mechanism" that makes sure the drivers don't do exactly what you tell them to. It would be no fun anymore of course. Some cars stood out in speed or lack of it. Maybe they had some problem, I don't know. I have to test further and see if the same thing happens again. A bit of a tutorial......ehh, I'll try. Tosch already told us how to make the update file right? If you got that done, for some reason (or the one Tosch described) the mod doesn't use the update. When you are at that point, you go in the mas2 program and select the box where you get 4 choices; take the bottom one to create a new multiple rfcmp. You get a few boxes: add track>don't add car>F1RFT2013 add(something)>sound, showroom and (ONLY) the UPDATED talent file(!!) Make the new mod file and DON'T let it save in the packages folder but in your working folder(!!) (Be aware the program might have the name ready, but check it; it might be the name of the "old" talent file you were making before......) Just call it F1RFT2013. Now, important; at this moment, you uninstall the original mod and delete it (check if the new talent file isn't there anymore too). As you have been playing around, go to the packages folder and make sure all stuff is gone; the talent files too. Check the installed/talent folder too (the updated file might still be in there). When you're sure all is gone, copy/paste the new rfcmp file into the packages directory, go in mod manager and install the mod. Click on it to see what files are installed and it should say it is now using the updated talent file......but as a normal file. You gave it the name 1.01 maybe, so it should say that. I know, it's a bit of a hassle, but it's -for me- the only way I got it working.........

Hours in the day......ow well, you know how that is; it doesn't work and you can't leave it alone; less hours in the night But now I get it -be it not in the proper way- and I can share instead of asking; nice to do something back for once. THANKS it works great for me.my talent file is spot on in the game ,and very easy 2 do as well..bonus. one thing though the cars in qual are not completing the 12 lap I have set them to do.mach fail off and still slowing and stopping on track?? I have tire & fuel set on..
Sorry Max, I can't help you there because I don't seem to have that problem. If I may ask; how did you edit the file? Because here, in race they are still pretty close together while in quali, they are way to far apart. The file I edited, says quali is actually closer together, but it's not. I edited speed, min racing skill and quali speed, don't know what the other options do though. Can you help me out a bit?

Did you read my post in this thread? AI carset sharing is a brand new feature that will be available to you specifically for offline racing, and to STOP the repackaging you are being advised to do that cause issues with mods.
The packed AI field is a PLR thing, you have to set AI Limiter = 0, otherwise the game will induce minor errors on race leader to create a false balanced race. Talent files editing won't help on this. Don't you expect consistent ISI help, tough.
