No engine sound in formula2_car

I have all other sounds, and all other cars working, sounds OK.

No engine noise for f2 though. I have uninstalled all mods, then reinstalled core and then f2 - no success.

Reinstalled rfactor2 - no success.

Is there a setting somewhere I have missed which will restore this?

Have you tried re-downloading the F2? could be a corrupted file and re-installing the same file wont help much.

 

Check your path's in your modmgr.exe - I had the same problem.

 

Thanks for all the tips - I had failed to remove the old (huge) rfmods of f2, nissan etc (all others worked OK). Removing this seemed to solve my problem. Uninstall did not help, only removal of the files.
