Notice the haze as well. It also appears on Fuji. Not sure why. Outstanding work gents. Beautiful track. Thank you for your work
Many thanks for this master piece. There are so many details all is in top quality and all this without loosing fps. Wow wow great thx
I just want to say how much I appreciate the level of attention that has been given to the surface of this track. It is simply perfect. I am not an authority on the IRL track but in terms of immersion and challenge I cannot imagine how the surface of this track could be improved. Beautiful.
Thank you for the track, good job to all involved. If any one is looking for a hdr profile for Le Mans, i found that the default Silverstone profiles work pretty good.
Really Excellent, so much fun to drive. Performance is pretty damn good as well considering the size of the place. Did get some clipping in the grandstands as you expected. Have rolled multiple cars at the ford chicanes although that probably says more about my driving that your track
Haha ye unlike the modern Le Mans, there used to be sleeping policeman at those apexes. Now it's just a flat curb everyone pretty much ignores.
What an amazing gift to the rF2 community! Thank you so much to everyone involved in making this track, which is one of my favorites irl and now in the sim as well. I had such a crazy emotional response to driving this track in the URD endurance cars today... Driving the Vette, coming towards Tertre Rouge with a blue Aston Martin just in front of me... Made me think of poor Allan Simonsen in the awful 24h race earlier this year. I choked up a bit actually... I even spotted the tree he hit, just behind the armco along the track. Wow... Just wow... Some feedback: The track is visually stunning. Fantastic details everywhere, such as fire trucks, the crowds, photographers flashing when I wizz by, and the beautiful trees all along the track. SO lifelike! The bumps and elevation changes are perfect. The grip is good. There's a lot of "fog" - Others have reported this too I believe. AI won't refuel and run out of fuel en masse on the track. The pit lane speed limiter doesn't apply to the AI. The issues are very minor. The track however is a huge addition to rF2! Wonderful stuff indeed.
New HDR profile for LeMans. I had some trouble creating this, because this track has an active DST setting (which is a good thing) and devmode goes crazy with the time settings. I had to create the profile in Notepad++. I added a lot of comments (you can open the profile in Notepad), maybe this will become useful for later changes or for someone who wants to learn how this stuff works. Some info about the Track RaceDate = June 22, 2013 Sunrise: 05:56 (nice start time is 5:30) Sunset: 22:04 Profile download: View attachment LeMansBuild342_clear.zip To install the profile extract the file to "rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91".
Great work! Fantastic driving on it and the most of all looks very nice. The only thing that I dont like is the clipping on the long straights. CU at the track....
As I said, it was a pleasure for me to give something back for all the fun I had/have with your creations in the past, presence and hopefully future. About the AI not slowing down in Pitlane. Looks like there is no "Special slow down Spot" marked in the AIW file. Should be easy to fix with the new great AIW tutorial. Thank you for this great track!
