I once had a 320i E30. So much fun to drive that thing. Unfortunately, I blew the engine chasing an M6 on the Autobahn.

Indeed, they're not easy to come by. The ones that are in somewhat acceptable condition are being converted into racecars mostly. Or so I was told. My dad still has one. Not an M but a convertible 320. In perfect condition. I asked him if he would sell it to me but no way in hell he is going to give that car to anybody. They will have to bury him in that car when he dies, I suppose.
I think it is safe to say, that very slowly, I'm getting the hang of how to drive properly. Skills are still very poor. Any advice is more than welcome.
Is your in-game wheel matching your real-life wheel, and if so, do you have the lock set to very sensitive and touchy? Just asking because the little amount of lock needed to get around the turn 2 and turn 4 hairpins looks unrealistically low, and just weird. It's like the car is too eager to point into, and turn into & throughout, a corner almost on it's own without hardly needing to actually steer and extract grip (regardless of how high or low that grip may be) of the front tyres... It's like everything is just working off front-end pointyness and rotation rather than actually having to steer and use any sort of grip from the front tyres. I hope it's just a graphical steering issue, or your controller settings, rather than physics related.
One thing I noticed is that the (virtual) steering wheel keeps turning while the (virtual) hands don't, so if you went by the position of the hands its a bit off to the position of the steering wheel. (if that makes sense )
Its a great car and if the modder or anyone else could fix the headlights/brake lights, hopefully with light flare and maybe fix the arm animation and release painting templates, it could be a great mod.
Hi Spinelli, if anyone can help me, it must be you. So, thank you for replying. First, the steering lock is set to 23 degrees. If I have to guess, I'd say I'm turning the real wheel about 90 degrees in sharp turns and mainly using throttle or brakes to turn into the apex (which I need a lot more practice at imho). The car is very likely to oversteer when too much throttle is aplied or even when speed is just a little too high in really fast corners. Not sure how realistic this is, never tried anything stupid like that in my real E30. However it feels natural. I highly recommend you try the mod for yourself and see what I mean. Thanks again.
