The thing Tosch is showing there, is the fact that Time of Day has a huge impact on the overall feel of 'atmosphere'. The fog, the early morning, the cold air, the wet grass in the first video almost has a romantic '24h feeling' to it, where as the second 1.00pm vid just misses the whole feeling. I think that we do miss a lot of ambient occlusion in the game engine (very GPU intensive I believe) and we really miss soft reflections. For instance, the tarmac looks like tarmac when the sun is shining on it at an angle, whereas the tarmac looks like a piece of carpet because it misses the color of the sky(light). We eventually need 2 lightsources: indirect skylight (bouncing all over the place and casting soft shadows) and a direct sunlight casting hard shadows. There is so much to achieve
Bake Bean Do you have a specific profile for your Track IR.I have to continually use a button to centre the image on my screen. Yours does not seem to have that problem. I have tried all of the default profile sand even tried to make my own. Dead zone seems to help with the centreing issue but it is not so good to drive with. Any tips?
Guys... Where is this spotter/race engineer I`m hearing in your vids? Is it public and available? Thanks.
That's a pretty cool plugin yeah. Would be perfect with few easy touches imho, like normalizing all samples to the same level and adding a "radio effect" like cutting low frequencies and FFDs the rest. Nitpicking, but may add lot of realism and immersion. Furthermore for non native English people, like me eh..., that filter/normalization may help to understand what he's saying as the big amount of bass frequency do not help, especially with those fat engines under the butt. Cheers to the creator!!...
lol... Actually I have been kinda living under a rock for a few weeks (well working away from home so not up to date with things as it were) But since I`m no longer under said rock I`ll track down the spotter plugin... Cheers Steve.
i just think it shoudnt say that your tyre temprature is too high, it weird to hear it when you are overdriving them in qualy, but love the idea
You can tune it to your liking. I just can't seem to stop driving to do it. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
