Yeah perhaps you missed the post below and part in bold. Wasn't saying cars don't lift off but how the tyre deformed graphically as it came back down kind of looked a bit weird.
Don't think it looks weird, it's an extreme situation. However, still miles better than no deformation at all.
I think FONismo is right. The deformation is probably more than it would do in real life. IRL there would be some parts left behind at that corner. Just one or two maybe. Important parts most likely. Btw. hows the damage model coming along, ISI?
Is there some better place to upload my videos to than YT which compresses the videos so badly that it makes 1440p look like 720p?
Was having some fun on the ISI IndyCar server last night, when this happened. The leader (Hectari) was unfortunately taken out by a car sliding down the track in turn 3. With him struggling to get back up to speed, all hell breaks loose. :O
common problem of simulators -Iracing : http://youtu.be/Ddyy1HXraXI p.s dosnt that moving cockpit annoy you? you can switch off the bouncing cockpit in the player .ini file +it helps frame rate also ( the cockpit vibration multi lines )
Honestly it hasn't annoyed me. I tend to like a bit of movement in the cockpit anyway, but then I'm weird.
There's a lot of energy there. Right conditions, weird things can happen. Cockpit motion might annoy you if you look at it. You should be looking pretty far down the track most of the time.
I had never noticed it until someone told me it made them feel nauseous.... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Daily Motion is the only one I have found, other than Vimeo. But Vimeo doesn't allow them (or shouldn't).
Thanks Tim, well, ive uploaded it on yt, those baskets demanded my phone number for it, that is just sad.... and as i expected, yt raped the video quality... Here is a fantastic race i had on Monday on race event with Simracers Revival group, it was a fantastic race so i thought i will share It is a bit long, but it will come I just so love rF2...
