You may have seen a few pages a go that I posted one video about a Top Gear Test Track Challenge. Well, there are now 7 races in the series. Here is a link to the playlist. I hope you enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfmEAEwuZJfO7ETMtt9S8Mc9tnyOAclTX
I was thinking about selling an old tablet for a pittance but I ended up buying the dashmeter for android and give it a new use.
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! That was very well done, 20 mins of commentary. Thanks for the effort and time spent on that. Looking further to further weather/rain improvements, especially in physics obviously but the GFX really need work. - The spray looks like it's shooting up & out from individual jets placed on the ground along the track. - They also look way too much like individual chunks of clouds - Also the amount of spray has to decrease much more according to the decrease in speed, but then also re-increase much more according to the increase in speed. - Also the spray has to blend better when going from no/little spray to full spray, instead of having such an abrupt & sudden 0% spray to 100% spray as you put a tyre over a wet/wetter part of the track.
I was just doing some training laps with C6R at Nordschleife when this happened... Now, I'm not entirely convinced that this would have happened in the "real" world under that same circumstances. Kind of like feels as if one tyre loses grip they suddenly all do? IDK it just doesn't feel right to me?
I think the problem was in your tyres temps and your setup. Did you lose the rear end in just before that ?
This was only my second lap and as you can see it was quite at the beginning of the lap and no, I didn't spin or anything. For the setup, I don't know anything about setups but here is my suspension(roughly): from default front stabilizer +1 (notch or increment or whatever) rear stabilizer -1 front and rear, left and right same slow bump 5 slow rebound 8 fast bump 4 fast rebound 10 ride height front 7cm rear 9cm front camber -2,6 rear camber +1,4 (not sure) toe front -0,10 toe rear +0,10 caster 8° That's about all I can remember.
@Racefreak1976 Ok, it happens to me sometimes (with fast cars) when i overturn there with a low rearwing while stepping on grass.
