How long are the races? Are we talking pit strategies and such, or just a sprint to the finish from the start?
There are 2 classes as far as assists go. Class 1) No assists at all. No autoclutch or anything Class 2) Any allowed assists are available. This way those who choose to drive with the manual clutch option are rewarded- this is especially important with the Howstons and the new driveline model. Both classes race together, they are just scored differently. Open view, not forced. -The races are 45 mins, normal time scale, normal tire wear and fuel usage. I don't think anyone will pit unless the weather turns bad.... We will use a combination of dry/wet/scripted and random weather in events as well as day and night races.
I just did a full race run- the left side tires were in the yellow, but we should do a full race length with no problem. Fuel is not a prob at all, this thing has a huge fuel tank.
The next race is at TWS19... you can really open these up around the oval section. This should be a special race- the sound of that huge engine screaming around there is awesome.
