Goodnight everyone, I have a problem getting to play rfactor2. I bought the lifetime rf2, all right until the moment the menu appears, giving to choose single player or multiplayer, and the problem is when I load into any of the two options in, none of them starts. Logo appears as if for the game, but after not going there, and then an error pops up windows. Anyone had this problem? When I select the graphic options are always at least, after choosing the best, gives the error that I show in the picture. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/cv2y.jpg/ Then it is back to the settings again in the lowest. The game is on C:, already uninstalled the game 3 times. I have directx11, but notice that on the configure sim menu, appears directx9 ... I'll put the features of my pc, it might help to give me any tips. OS: Windows 8 CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 CPU@3.4oGHz GPU: GeForce GTX 660 Ti Memory: 8GB Dx:11 I would appreciate help. Cumps LT
Hi In game launcher menu > Configure sim Have you chosen a resolution? for example 1920x1080? If no resolution is set, rF2 can't be started.
rFactor2 doesn't support dx11. You need dx9. But I guess you have them both installed already (?) EDIT: directx 9c I think
Hi Hedlund_90 tnks for the reply to try to help. Well yes i have choose 1920x1080. can we have 2 directx installed on a machine ? I just have once, the 11, because win8 came with him.
After installing DX from redapg link go to your Documents\rFactor2\Support\Runtimes folder and run vcredist_x86.exe, you might be missing the visual basic runtimes. Also check windows update for anything related to visual basic runtimes.
Last time we had something related in our league it was due to some vírus detroyed DirectX. Also, what nvidia driver do you have? PT: A ultima vez que tivemos alguém com esse problema foi porque uma virose lhe tinha dado cabo do DirectX. Podes perguntar ao Fortuna que ele lembra-se.
Also in the launcher, click configure sim and then in the drop down where it says Sync make sure none is selected and give it a reboot. Rob.
Thanks, but I solved the problem with a fresh install of windows, now with win 7. Thank you all for the help, it was not by chance that I wanted to join this great community. Again, thank you and good races.
