Really great seeing you still working on this! Having the possibility to easy export FBX for AC with Blender and put them into the game actually made me feel sad on the rF2 perspective somehow...but your work is really promising and I'm really really looking forward to ANY release of this!
@ Raul Cor - THANKS for your rFactor2 Dev page so far! Do you plan on doing another tutorial once Traveller's Blender script is released, which I know may be a while yet. I always want to be prepared for my future , whatever it has in store for it. Scott
The version 0.67 of the scripts seem to work well. So much so that I ended up digging up the .blend I had of MilanoFactor from last October in order to do some more work on the track. I then noticed how much had changed since then and ended writing a couple of helper scripts to take care of some basic tasks. I didn't want to have type out various entries for a couple of hundred track objects. That would have taken far too much time. Anyway, those helper scripts and some under-the-hood stuff have now pushed the scripts to version 0.68. I'll get them to my tester before the SotA R8 play test starts in the middle of the week.
Do you have a clue on when will you release it? Is a great tool to modders that can't buy max or simed... Good luck with the project!
Wow. Almost a four year thread resurrection. They've been out. Please note that they're still incomplete. Work on them is on hold, as I'm now looking at Blender 2.8.
Arrggg, Kind of figured. I'm guessing most of the scripts I like no longer work. I do love the new interface, looks much more like a high end application.
