hi Robert, that's it !!! now i hear the beep but nothing else... it recognizes "hello box" or "hi sam" but does not bring any sound...
You have to speak very precisely. I had to give it a couple of tries until I heard a response. Speak as clear as possible. Other than that - no clue. If you can hear the beep and the static it should work alright, especially since you can see the words in the debug window. The only two times I got a response was for "hello Box" and "Bob".
You have to setup your windows speech recognition and TRAIN it. The training session takes a couple of minutes only, but makes all difference !
Thanks Gaucho for your suggestion about the pit strategy. Itsn't possibile to combine your job with the "spotter plugin"....? I use it and its nice but haven't the voice recognition. Inviato dal mio Nexus 4
I have been using Voice attack (very cheap) and seems to work well with functions in rfactor 2. But would prefer to talk to an engineer and have them respond with setup tweaks while driving
of course its possible to use both, but sometimes you may experience simultanous sounds I am using the script principally to modify the pit menu and get a sometimes a ^motivation^ from my race engineer.
I actually prefer this method for pit stop management. For example instead of going through and selecting each tyre for change you can just say it. And yes we need voice actors the same can be said for the spotter plugin.
