Has the gMotor Viewer been updated in this build??

The good: Now seems to read from the GDB file for location information
The bad: Reflections don't seem to work on transparent materials.

Well here is what I did:
(I was using the fixed launcher before)

    - Updater -> Did not work

    - Uninstalled (without deleting any folder) -> nope

    - Uninstalled, deleted Data & Core, reinstalled - > working well now

Edit:And I have every Mod I had before reinstalled.

well for me it seems, .298 content build new folder. It starts.. and runs. When I start to add tracks and cars, at some point it stops working. Trying to see what it doing it

I added this to the first post a few mins ago, and I'm feeling more confident the issue is with the data dir.
It could be as simple as deleting a single file so it can be repopulated, but without the problem, I can't test to find out which. It appears that a fresh data dir fixes launching problems. I initially thought it was the launcher, but it is launching problems it seems.

Again - Jeremy will be around to take a look soon. :)

Well it all seems to be working very well so far for me. I did a full fresh install and everything I`ve tested so far is running beautifully.

There seems to be a slightly different look to rf2 now... maybe some of the lighting issues have been fixed? It seems to look slightly better to me anyway, maybe I`m imagining things. :p

Delighted to see the Tuning section blacked out bug has been fixed, it`s worked every time I`ve gone into that section now without having to Alt - Tab.

I`ve not tested much yet and only have ISI stuff installed so far but I have a big fps improvement with the cars and tracks I`ve tried... mostly maxed out (full track detail/car detail, 6 AI, mirrors, HDR etc high AA etc) and a definite improvement so far...

    I like. :)

I just checked single player and static reflections on Transparent materials no longer works.

I checked my track, Silverstone, Mills and Lime Rock on all settings and got nothing on transparent materials. the Transparency works just find on solid materials but its extremely overpowering.

I used the auto updater. Downloaded and installed correctly within 30 seconds. Game works beautifully. I'm definitely noticing a FPS bump. Nice work ISI!

    One problem tho:
Weren't police chases supposed to be in this build? I can't find it.

sears point track is crashing this build only.
interesting thing is, it doesn't even have to be installed, just sitting in packages not installed causes game to crash.

Not working here either after auto update? Searspoint not installed on my version but still not working. Will remove from packages to see if that helps!

Seems like it more then just Sears Point that causes rfactor2 to crash. Doing some testing now.
