Thought I would bring this back to top.
In build 300, DTM tracks are causing problems. I'm sure it is not on purpose. They just need to be updated.
They are causing certain car mods to CTD when users hit the Race button.
Your mileage may vary, but more than likely mileage may be very low.

Yes, we need to find some volunteers to "finish" them!

Beware, someone just might take offense and publicly declare not to work on tracks anymore because doing something in your spare time automatically means people can't have an opinion about it which doesn't suit you!

Jokes aside, better run them in their original format anyway, just like most F1 tracks, almost everything is still in somewhat of a 'transitional period', just like I'm still having a great time with RFT2012 on rF1, waiting for a full package of RFT2013 :)

Yes, whatever you do don't do this! You will be declared "unappreciative", a "know-it-all" and accused of providing "silly feedback" and "outright condescension".

Best to offer no feedback, ask no questions and leave them to it. No point "running modders out of town".

    +1

Most of present track/mod conversions distort what rf2 is and what rf2 can be.
Imagine a guy buying rf2, then installing some bad conversion track and some crap mod like some that are out there......
Personally i installed some of them just to find out that i stick with ISI mods and a couple of community tracks i.e. Poznan/Croft ones.

It was the road mesh and AI on these that were the two big problems.

I believe all of these tracks are from Race 07. With a bit of time spent on them (texture overhauls) they could be decent conversions.

the same... those conversions - most just a crap... others are rf1 level, but not rf2. i mean they are good but not enough.
the same for me - Poznan, croft, Dunsfold Park and isi tracks+couple rf1 conversions :) like mid-ohio
