How come this track is not named 1.4*, I thought the ISI track version numbers where supposed to be an indication to what version of rfactor build they would be guaranteed to work with, or does that not apply anymore.

Its a little beauty btw, love it thanks.

I'm really happy after some testing at Mores. Fits perfectly to Clios and skips. Track it self looks very good. Not any fancy effects or details but it looks nice and realistic and that's main thing. Fps performance is also great compared to Silverstone. I hope this is the way ISI keeps doing tracks in the future.

that's because Silverstone has way more detail than mores, kinda self explanatory!

    Nice one, thank you!

Can I ask why does the AA on painted lines mostly look the worst on ISI tracks?

Because of the way rF1 and rF2 are programmed, you need to use supersampling on AA Transparency. Kills frame rates big time. Hopefully one day, though we've been waiting since 2005 so I wouldn't hold my breath, ISI will give us a graphics engine/coding that responds well to the much less resource-intensive multisampling that 95% of the rest of the games out there look fine using.

That being said, if you have a powerful GPU, go ahead and switch to supersampling and you'll see how gorgeous it looks.

That track is soo short that it is extremely fun in Clios, skippies maybe megans, but it has no point to race it in anything else :-D

but i really love it :) basically all corners need differend technique to come thru right... it has obviously been designed by somebody who knows what is fun :) my favourite is the chicanne just before last corner... so much fun.. great track :)

We were doing that for re-releasing of old content. Trying to reduce some confusion.

This track is 1 mile, Silverstone is what? 3.6? You can't expect the same performance. Although Silverstone may have future updates.

Re.indy I'm really hoping they'll have the infield too

so it can be set as infield / oval / road (road is where some of the oval is used too) would be a great addition then

    Great track indeed.
Only problem I have encountered is, and I dont know is it this track or the whole games issue, but the shadows when sun is below the horizon, reflect up to the walls and fences like the direct sun light would be coming thru the 'planet'.
Kinda off putting when on the main straight and your car shadow is reflected to the 3rd floor.

The sun blocker is there, but not so easy to control the sun in that particular location due the complexity of the terrain vertical geometry and the extent of the entire landscape.

BTW I suggest you to load the Mores HDP profile to limit the issue.
