    Hey all,

I wanted to place my car skin into rF2 for observation, but I can't seem to find the right folder to put it in... I have already tried the rF2 guide, but the problem is that I only have tracks in the Documents\rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings folder, and no vehicles. Anyone knows how I can fix this, or where to look at?

    Cheers,

    Roy

When you select the car take a look down right the screen and you see " create directory" this creates a folder and subfolder for the skins

    Thank you, it worked :)

After I have done that, do I need to specificly name the .dds file or can I name it however i want to get it in the game?

I think you can name it what ever you want but I'm not sure

Thanks for the quick reaction :)

    Someone else told me:

''As long as your texture name starts with "Alt" and is under 10 letters/numbers long, anything should work. So as an example: "AltSkin01" will be fine.

Don't use underscores or hyphens. Pretty sure special characters and spaces aren't supported.''

    and it worked :)
