This sim reminds me of GPL in many ways. I like it much more than the first rfactor. Here's hoping for some more historical mods...Group C?
There will be some historic Lola's coming soon http://rfactor.net/web/2013/07/25/historic-content-coming-to-rfactor-2/
Try loading the in-game DFGT profile, default sensitivity (100%) and default steering rate (20%). In the Logi panel, try copying the setup of the attached shot.
Another question. Why do I get disqualified after one lap in practice? Is going off the track reason for disqualification?
No, but driving in the wrong direction! Which track? Edit: You should get a warning before disqualification.
I use Logitech DFGT too, here is my config. Unzip to \rfactor2\UserData\Controller-folder. Perfect for me but also the only one ;D
Were you allowed to exit the pits? Did you wait for the green light? It is plausible you left the pit lane before the session officially commenced As others have alluded to.
Thanks for all the help. I was at the Glen and all I see is a guy waving me out of pit lane. No green light back then. Maybe I didn't wait for the session to start. I'll try that.
If it is our animation, he'll actually be holding his hand up until the session starts, then wave you out when it does.
OK. I'm now trying the GT-R. Much easier to drive compared to the Brabham. One question...is there anyway to turn on mirrors. I have them on in the game, they are there on the Brabham, but not the Nissan. Going to try the 370Z next since I own a real one.
Set mirrors to ON in your settings or press '3' in-game (multiple 3's give different mirror selections) (3 is the default button, if not working, bind it in controls)
