Next set of drivers are due in three days time so may be worth waiting for those.

Running the beta 13.6 on a HD 7970. Don't see a difference from the previous driver at all.

Where did you hear new driver in three days?

    Thanks

I don't usually run beta so would of been 13.4 drivers. I also ran the AMD NEW un installer also. It get rid of all AMD software. Sorry for OP. I was just so excited that I was getting better frames at Silverstone. Before was lucky to get 40fps with last drivers for me. I was blaming the sim and couldn't be further from the truth. Was the drivers. I also have most settings on HIGH also.

Nope, not used it. But I think it is the 64 bit. It says windows 8.1 preview driver, but it works for Win 8.1, 8, 7, Vista.

I'm interested in the unigine fixes as I had crashes when overclocking, thought that might be other issues but now will push my card further if possible.

You can post your settings in the game?
I have a ATI 7870 2GB update to 13.6 driver as you mentioned but had no performance improvement.

    thank you

You'll have to mess with your settings. What I did find is that the reflection settings need to be OFF for good fps. I also used AMD's un install utility because it wipes out ALL of the video software and then install the new drivers. Keep in mind that everyone has different hardware and may not get same performance as me. I have bandicam screenshots of my settings but won't upload.

had to roll back to 13.4 anyway as ASUS GPU Tweak does'nt recognise the driver properly and gets all messed up, there is a new build or beta of the tool coming out "by the end of july" that deals with Windows 8.1 Preview OS (so say ASUS) so I'll try again then.

there was a thread somewhere about AMD drivers. They were suppose to have their new reduced frame stuttering drivers out in July, but they decided to push it until August. So with August coming tomorrow, I am looking forward to see what it will be all about.
