Launcher EXE for those affected by 7/18-7/20 DNS change

After reinstalling the game (lite version) over a previous install, I've got the issue again.
I have to enter my email / password every time I launch the game.
At the beginning, that fixed exe file worked fine on a B240 fresh install but now it doesn't work any more...

 

I'm getting the same thing, but only after creating a mod. Do you all create mods? There is a thread somewhere here that provides yet another fix, if I remember right. I'll try to track it down, and I'll link it here.

I have tried and failed with this. I removed the old launcher from the main rf2 folder where i see the coredll folder and installed the new launcher. Weird part is when i click the new launcher, my pc asks to run the program. It opens rf2, but i still cannot log in. I give up.

 

Nhra Racer, Are you possibly trying to use your forum name & password, or are you using the username & password you may have supplied at registration of rF2?

I have been busy so i haven't played in some time. I am using the email address i opened the account with and the same password i use for the forums. Is that not right? Sorry, it's been a while....long enough to where i almost forgot how to instal the new track into the packages folder. lol

 

Al i have to say is rf2 has some EXCELLENT service! They got me all fixed up in less than 12 hours from my email to them! On a Sunday to boot! Thank you so much ISI! I was using the wrong login info so you were right sf4jc!

You're welcome, Nhra Racer! Now if I could only find the other thread about a fix to the login problem some of us are facing after creating a mod, Grrrrrrrrrrr?! I feel I have searched everywhere, but my search results aren't giving me anything to go on. I'm probably 95% sure I didn't "dream" there was a solution.

My rfactor2 caught, nothing works, I login and everything is grayed out, try to log in and I can not update, try atviar and I can not if I have to close the lanch redo log, as did the subsitution lanch.
I need help ... I have never had such a problem with rfactor2

 

Hi guys , the same problem as Daniel Toledo here , i can login but the 3 windows are grey

 

Try going to the Purchase tab and reactivate.

 

the new Launcher worked until today,
the the game forgot the logininfo

Has the following question been asked before? Are these "re-activations" counting as an activation, because I thought we only get 4-5 per purchase of rF2?

Sorry, me again, I found my answer in post #69 of this thread. But that beg's another question, How will ISI know how many activations have been used just in this problem period? Is it going to count against us in the distant future?
