hmmm Id love to know what screens are being used here and are they modified. I am guessing they are. Anyone got any clues as that is exactly what I am looking for. They look to be 32". Sorry to post AC content here. http://www.racedepartment.com/2013/07/assetto-corsa-evotek-motion-simulator-video/
I had read they were 50/51" plasma's. In other pictures of the simulator the bezels look bigger, so perhaps they've changed things.
Cheers wizper. Running an f1 playseat so ideally i would like them to be min 32" however it looks like I will have to do some custom modding to achieve that. I would like to mount them low behind the peddle box so the digital wheels aren't unrealistic & high up on my eye-line etc... Funny it says 2mm bezel but judging from the pics it looks like my current Samsung 27" SA950 which is roughly 9 mm. 5ms response time & no mention of the refresh rate also concerns me. Maybe I just want to much.
After looking at it again, it could very well be 3 50+" monitors placed quite a distance from the person. If that is the case, it is possible that the person has removed the shell to the monitors in order to get a near bezel-less configuration.
@ WIZPER - I hear you matey. Half of my primary front screen wont be visible due to the wheel hub and peddle box covering it. I really want the screens low down as possible so the tyres are shown on the two side screens approx lined up with my toes etc...
The bezel on that monitor is 2mm, but there's 9mm of unused glass all around the edges, so there's still an 11mm border. So, if you put two side by side, you'd have 22mm of dead space. Just tricky marketing, unfortunately.
Some of the new large screen tv's have very thin bezals but beware of input lag De-bezaling normal monitors is always easy, especially if the mount screws are in the inner case
Yeah, datasheets says: Screen width: 622mm Visual width: 597,6mm That leaves 24,5mm bezel all together - not 2mm, damn cheaters!
@ traind - Yeah these are been around for a while. 23" (to small), 60hz & 8ms response time is a put off.
check this http://www.aoc-europe.com/no_cache/en/monitors.html?useCacheHash=1&showUid=208 only 12mm each
