Dear ISI - you got a big diamond in your hands. I know this because I have seen it shine sometimes at certain tracks and at certain times and conditions. You cant fool me ! Its just that it only shines at certain angles, so sometimes it kinda looks like a plain rock. Which is sad really.

So ISI - let the polishing begin ! We want to see the diamond shine in all its glory !

    I know what u mean
6:30 pm or am the game can look so detailed so clean and just nice (3d vision looks so nice in 1960 cars u can almost touch the engine)
That's if your not looking through windscreens
Now you take same car out same track at midday things look plain

that's purely subjective, where I live things look better at sunrise and sunset, everything's washed out and plain at full sun!

The lighting, colors, bad AA (jaggies), flickering textures etc. These are the things that ruin the experience for me atm. Well it doesnt ruin it - lets just say that I get a little frustrated because I feel it could be so much better :)

Aren't there many threads already about improving graphics?:D I think most people want it polished so probably the developers will do the best they can on that.

Just implement proper AA and image quality settings and I will be very happy. At the very least ISI needs to admit there is problems with the AA and should let us know if they are going to correct it in the future at some point. The AA issue alone makes me regret buying a lifetime license for 80 some odd bucks. Its such a letdown considering underneath the problem you can see how great this game could be. I'm afraid though that this will never be fixed as this has been a problem since rFactor 1. My worst fear is that they are not going to fix it and instead leave it up to more powerful gfx cards that come out in five years with more extreme levels of super-sampling. Its so depressing.
