[REL] DTM 2012/13 Skinpack for T5 Series

Hi all,
could you, please, rename 'Mathias Ekström' to 'Mathias Ekstrom' in your next build?
The "ö" crashes the Live Server.

Thanks for this great works, Ales T5 Models are looking nice with those real DTM skins !

Maybe a little "problem", the alpha channel of steering wheel skins is white (or missing), so the steering wheel plate is reflecting too much (it's better if it reflect nothing, like with originals T5 cars). It's just a little point, but in cockpit view the wheel is the first thing that I see .

Was looking for the special liveries this morning and I could not locate them. Checked the variants of all cars (in case it was put under the wrong car by mistake) and there were none available. Can someone tell me where I can find them?

They are in the Winrar-file you've became. If you have had unpacked it they should be there.

 

I think you have unpacked the Packed file into packages and Not into your Main rfactor2 folder as EraZr1 Said!

...if you unpack it to C:/Programs/rFactor 2 and Then install the rfcmp File everything should work perfectly!

is it me or are the reflections not as good as the T5 originals? they seem a bit 'dull' in comparison

the skins themselves are excellent, but the cars seem to lack the 'life' that others have. tried high and low reflections, full car details

the first pic is an original T5, the second a 2013 skinpack. same session, so settings are identical. you can see the 2013 has great windows reflections, but the T5 is reflecting the brick wall much better on the bonnet (hood)

just an observation, not really a criticism but something that i have noticed

 

That's due to skin's alpha channel values. It controls the skin reflectiveness (darker > matte / lighter > glossy).

It seems to be a bit more darker than it "should".

 

okey, I tried something with the alpha channels, but if you want more glare, we can change it for the next update.

 

I think it looks better with the T5 level, has that extra life about it. But that's my personal taste, I guess everyone is different!

Fantastic skin pack by the way, great work. Make the cars look a little more shiny and you've nailed it.

 

Agreed with all the others, EraZr1. Let it be like the original T5´s and it will be perfect.

Since this isn´t something that important wait for the tyre skins upgrade maybe. So we can have those Hankook logos as well.

Can someone help. I thought I installed it correctly, but the 2013 skins are not showing up in the game. I the mod manager it shows the skins installed. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
