Every other track I get min 50fps but on Silverstone I get 4fps? Is this right? Anyone else get this?

'Texture Detail', lower it by one click helped me.

At least you can get it to run... I did the auto update with no issues, then I installed Silverstone. I get 3/4 through the load and boink! runtime error. So.... when I start having issues I start fresh. Complete uninstall, delete all remnants, fresh install, redownload the track... same thing. 3/4 throught loading screen boink! runtime error.

Had the same problem. For me it was memory related. Try no AI, lower ALL settings. If it loads, start upping them one by one.

OK... turn textures down to low, no AI loads and runs fine... lots of frames. turn up textures to med.. less frames... to high really less frames, to max 2 or 3 FPS. Ad AI... boink!

It seems alot of users that are having major fps problems have pc's with AMD CPUs &/or GPU's ????

In my case I think its related to a 32 bit OS and 4GB (really 3.2gb) of RAM. With full textures it doesnt seem to have enough RAM to even load when everything is on full.

I got a 2.3ghz quad core cpu (amd phenom x4 9650) and a gtx580 1.5 gb, plus 3gb ram on a 32bit win7. I run Silverstone nearly maxxed out, with 4x aa, 12-18 AIs depending on the car I use...

When I first tried it with rf2 setup as I used to have prior 240 and silverstone, with texture detail to full, it wouldn't load the track either...

To load the track at full, you need over 2gb vram...

Check out the post I did here: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...v1-01-Released?p=183273&viewfull=1#post183273

I found out after that I would get better visuals by going 4x AA and no MSAA. And FPS is the same. Might not be able to load 16 AIs, I haven't tried yet, usually runs with 6-8 ais in practice mode, time attacking my ghosts. (I like having AIs so there is some life on track, and also to get some reference times)

Check out my pc spec in my profile, it's now a pretty humble computer!

in my case, there were no expectations, it wasn't a complaint, but a error report, and thru my own testing revealed that lowering the texture detail setting resolved the issue, and it was the first post to provide a solution.
how does anyone know what "minimum requirements" will run like if there is no one to test those systems?
for gods sake, your welcome. ( :
