Only on some part...I didn't already found how to loft a correct things in max and a bit lazy to learn it for now...
Thank you very much for converting this track, maybe the most enjoyable Ive driven. We are having a race at Zolder with our league on Sunday.
I must emphasize the quality of this circuit: it is one of the best, perhaps the best for me. What a pleasure to drive on!
Thank you Arnao! This track flows very well and I'm sure it will get even better. Keep up the good work man!
Very nice track indeed. I didn't have a lot of expations first but after I drive a few laps, I like this track more and more. Track is perfect for historic F2's. Good work!
I was very sceptical to try this track at first, given that it is a conversion and most of the tracks of the '79 trackpack were conversions in the first place when it was released for rF1 in '06/'07. But I must say that I was very pleasently surprised how good this track is. (And the layout is so much better than the new one with that ridiculously slow chicane). It's a blast to drive the Howstons around here and with the new automated HDR it really looks quite good, I think. Well done and thank you, Arnao! Reading this post from July... ... I do wonder though if there will be a revised version any time soon?
There is a revised version with the hill after the chicane placed more accurately. Arnao just has to polish it up some and re-release the track. He's working on some other stuff for rF2 also right now. This track is not done yet and it is not abandoned.
In a weeks time we will be running this track in our league, but we come across a bug where you lose a lap if you pit. Don't know if a quick fix could be made or we will have to go with a plan B. Nice track, hope to run it. cheers DJC
Ok Did a quick FIX....just fix missing part in PIT out offroad and fix NO LAP COUNT when PITING.... It's Uploading
Your welcome, I test it quickly so maybe it's must be tested more ....Upload is not finish yet sorry. My connection is too bad so I will link it tomorow ...
I have spoken with an old member from GP79 team and he said to me, it is better to do a new loft instead to do a conversion because the loft is quite old and inaccurate. Of course I know how lofting is difficult Maybe a collaboration with wgeuze to do the old layout can be very beneficial to do a very accurate track Two good websites to see the evolution of layout http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/racingcircuits/ and http://www.gdecarli.it/php/index.php?var1=2&var2=2 Regards, VML EDIT: I like the old track, because I like driving old car on a old track. A lot of DRM races in the end of 70s and beginning of 80s with Group 5 and Group C
