rFactor2 Build 228 Released

    As i said in my earlier post allready reactivated it.

    Press "win-key" + "r"
    Enter %appdata%"
    Open the folder ".rFactor"
    You should find 3 files (rFactor.credentials, rFactor.name, rFactor.okay)
    if not, have you done the activation with a different Windows user account?

    Yup those are all there, laucher even has the usual welcome text but those 3 optios are still all greyed.

    I think my post adds nothing, but just to be sure ... did you try to activate your new instance copying/pasting your old license files?

    Nope, didnt remeber to backup old licence files when moved my ssd to this new build.

    This is something extremely odd, evne tried to reinstal it but still same thing. I guess rf2 dont like haswell :(

    This is pic what im getting now, also allrady cheacked that all files are there and mod manager says all the content intaller stuff is installed.

    Ok, i asked because a new system requires new license files.

    Wild guess ... may be the new license files are corrupted?
    In your shoes i would try to reactivate again.

    I also had this when I first installed rF2 on my new system, after changing the motherboard. I forgot to save my activation files so I made a reavctivation, successfully. It said "welcome hedlund", but everything was greyed out. Unfortunately I had run out of activations so I couldn't try reactivate again.

    I contacted ISI support and they reset my activations, so I tried again and it worked fine.
    So my only advice is to try to reactivate again...

    haha this is exatly the case im in now, just tried to reactivate it again and seems like im not out of activations LOL. Well sent mail to ISI if they can reset my activations, hopefuly it does the trick.
