Poor quality but it can be clearly seen that the rainspray on historic cars wasn't wide at all, certainly not nearly trackwide and only hangs in the air for a second.. Currently the effect is extremely exaggerated imo.. Well here it does look a bit wider.
Simple answer: each sort of surface produces their sort of spray. Do you expect to see a huge white spray coming from the rear of a 4 x 4 Buggy racing on a dirt track? I don't think so. You'll want a smaller spray with a different colour. In addition: a cement path is less porous so it'll generate more spray than a tarmac surface. Now imagine a track with those three materials: how can you have only one spray reaction? The TDF control is good and desirable for spray. What needs improvements is its graphical quality.
The video is too dark but you can see the spray. FR35 at AlcaƱiz.. all morning raining. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4945836323605&l=4748339673244339460
There can be a graphic gmotor engine too old? In my opinion, it was possible to improve slightly simply gmotor2. Effects all old, only new texture.
I totally agree. Spray looks terrible. Like some kind of unrealistic smoke. It even gets into the cockpit of the Megane. Besides the fps hit is so big on my rig that racing is close to impossible. Driving around alone is fine. The raindrops look good, and fps is manageable. Just don't look in the mirrors. Back to the dry.
