rFactor 2 backup manager allows you to choose rFactor 2 specific folders and files and makes a backup of these files. Users can also backup their rF2 License folder.

When you need to make a fresh rF2 installation, backup whatever you need, uninstall rF2, then you can restore back the files you have backed up to the new rF2 installation.

By default, the main folders/files you need to backup are chosen. But you can add or remove as you wish.

The Auto Find button will try to find your default install/license folder, but you can specify a different one.

Feel free to report and bugs or suggest enhancements.

    Download v 1.0.0.1 here http://www.mediafire.com/download/g38vgkoywzwrt5r/rFactor2BackupManagerSetup_v1.0.0.1.exe

Maybe you could integrate a seperate backup option for the "licence folder":
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\.rFactor.
    TIA

    Good idea!

But how can I find this folder in different operating systems. I know the one you mentioned is Win7, how about XP, Vista and Win 8 etc?

I could leave the user to choose, but some might not know where it is :)

New version 1.0.0.1 has been released. Download from first post.

I have added the option to backup the License folder too.

I just noticed this thread. I did a virtual XP install of rFactor 2 and the license folder was:

    C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\.rfactor

If you know of a way to automatically insert the current user's name in the path it should work.

Cheers mate. I have already implemented the License backup. It's in the latest version. Did not test it with XP though.

    Is it not working?
