Many thanks for this, works ok on my HD7850 but there's too much of an FPS loss (as to be expected) for me to use it, plus the colours went much whiter and made it look too washed out for my liking. Time of day could be the reason for the last bit but FPS loss is the key for me.
Ive changed this settings(inside SweetFX_settings) for anybody that would like to try. It makes sharpening less and i have same fps with those settings as without sweetFX and it has nice touch on colors. But for notice this "plugin" is best to be used with hdr on in rf2 settings. // -- Sharpening -- #define sharp_strength 0.40 // [0.10 to 3.00] Strength of the sharpening #define sharp_clamp 0.025 // [0.000 to 1.000] Limits maximum amount of sharpening a pixel recieves - Default is 0.035
Anybody knows how to use this plugin with d3d9.dll file witch already exists with track map plugin ? Is it possible to rename one of both or something else... thank you.
I have asked the same question several times in TrackMap thread and never got an answer. I eventually quit using SweetFX because I needed TrackMap more, but recently I've discovered that I can use SweetFX through RadeonPro software, it needs some setup but it is working fine with RF2 using SWFX and TrackMap in the same time.
Thank you Prodigy, I've got an HD5870 so I will try to install Radeon Pro to use SweetFX as your write above.

This resource has been removed and is no longer available for download. can you help me? Thanks! With first versione build 218:
I just discovered this SweetFX. I'm not quite sure how to use it. I have placed the entire thing into the rF2 folder. Now I'm at a loss. Do I enable HDR in game? I've turned off AA in game, now what? I'm not sure it's working. I press pause or Scroll and I don't see any change. My config.ini is like what's posted here. I have an nVidia 650 ti, so I'm good there. Now what? Thanks
d3d9.dll file must go in Core folder inside RF2 folder, rest can stay in root rf2 where you unpacked it. You can read more about swfx here http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php?t=8305
So far, I really like this SweetFX. Can someone tell me how to turn down the "sparkly" stuff? It just seems like there is a little to much "sparkle" I need to tone it down some, to a more realistic thing. Trees and poles, etc. don't shimmer like they do right now. Thanks.
I guess I should say it kind of shimmers. The railings etc. seem to have too much contrast or something. I hope these shots are not too big. View attachment 11409 View attachment 11410 View attachment 11411 Hmm, these don't show it when I post them. I'll have to work on this.
I think I found the problem. nVidia Inspector was not saving my profile for rFactor2. I finally got it save, and it seems good for now.
