You're wasting your time Marty, much as I was wasting my time asking Deathofmarat to stop deliberately knocking down all the distance markers last time I raced with him. His attitude, as is so popular these days, was of an 'I don't care' nature.

Its obvious to me who was at fault for the incidents you've shown and I've been on the recieving end of that kind of inconsiderate driving from that same individual. I learnt early on in my sim racing online hobby that these people who 'don't care' whilst on the track probably don't care off the track either. Best avoided or ignored to be honest.
In real life if we were competing like this, you'd be escorted from the circuit by security for infantile behaviour such as deliberately driving into distance markers, and you'd spend more time with the stewards than on track if you overtook like the examples in your videos.
I find it easy and enjoyable to show respect to other people. I dont need it to be enforced. Its a mystery to me why some unfortunate, pitiable individuals find it so costly to them. I suspect its some kind of deep rooted insecurity. Bless 'em.

Well i hope you lads can sort this out & see eye to eye as the online community is too small to be bicker over who crashed who, **** happens online some times just say sorry for contact and forget about it, move on and learn from the experience and give them more space the next time or wait for a better place to pass.

It's being bickered over as drop-in races by nature aren't controlled ..smithaz would've been given a race ban - maybe suspended for a race, to give him time to "reconsider" - for that number of transgressions in a league race with active stewards :)

I enjoy both - leagues & casual drop-in races, & the drop-ins are usually with pCars & it's a gas.. I expect a bit of paint rubbing & getting karted off into the undergrowth - & get it, lol

Yes, just as the entirety of humanity is wasting it's time waiting for you to stop consuming cocks like twinkies after Hostess went belly up.

Make more SWEEPING generalizations of a person's ENTIRE character purely on the basis of how they drive in a video game... oh, and act like a smug, self-righteous douche bag while you're at it. Practice makes perfect, y'know?

In real life, you'd get beaten about the face if you were to say half the idiotic garbage you're spewing out of the tips of your fingers. No internet tough guy intended. Just stating a simple fact here.

You find it easy and enjoyable to show respect to other people. Hence is why you made it a point to try and speak down to me, directly, in public. Good job. You've proved to the entire internet how great a dude you are. Bully for you!

Sir, if you would.... dismount your high horse, or do the world a favor and ride it off a cliff.

Heh heh, suit yourselves lads. We all have a choice about how we represent ourselves online, both forums and gaming. I'm happy with how I conduct myself as, I'm sure, are you.

Lol at least the true character of some people has come out, explains quite a few things well done guys. No idea what the point of dropping down to such a low level was here but I guess your all happy making yourselves look like complete fools. Enjoy yourselves and be tough keyboard warriors I salute you.

Here's a few more for you, what is the point of that seriously? What have you added to the conversation and so why bother even writing those few useless words?

I'm so sorry to hoping people show each other more respect online and make the experience better for all. Going by the responses it shows we have no hope and may just give up on it all together. I also have little interest in providing anything for such people in this community and so doubt I will ever release my track project. Many other modders may feel the same so good luck to you selfish people for helping make your future experience less pleasant in every way.Wrecking just seems way too important for many here and so it looks like the standard will never improve so why bother.

No idea why Im getting all the personal attacks from everyone here, but if you guys think that is helping in any way good luck to you. It doesn't bother me in the slightest just shows what sort of people you are which I find pretty sad.

Not sure if your trying to prove your character is better or worse here, this post I think clearly shows what sort of character you are and its not a very nice one. Quite hypocritical just like the other post you made regarding me but both show a lot about your character.

I think the problem is not with the post, but the fact you used someone as an example. The post itself has merit, to discuss online driving and rules is a good thing but to use some one in a public forum isn't good form ,and its allways gunna end in tears.

Now back to topic , how many of the people here know what the 'REDRESS' rule is, I know most Aussies know the meaning and if used in a server does help to clean up driving and I know many servers that will 'BAN' if its not followed. I remember a post way back Tim suggested some online rules racing should be written , which would be great and would hopefully put everyone on the same page when it comes to online racing ,which I might point out will vary slightly to real life rule and also league to league . Some basic rules that can be agreed upon before entering an open server would be a great start.

Hopefully if this thread continues you can discuss this . I fully understand **** happens and I fully encourage people to just get over it and move on when it happens.

So who knows what 'REDRESS' means ? clue, it has nothing to do with clothing or removing any of

I have asked for this thread to be closed as its turned into a joke, continued discussion on the topic can go on in another thread but I am completely done with this forum.

The attitude here is terrible and I am so sorry for embarrassing someone by showing how bad he drove, if he showed more respect for others on track I would have had nothing to put up so maybe think about how you drive on public servers if you dont want public embarrassment. He has admitted fault anyway and so I thought that was over with until he came crying in a pm then continued on with a further post. Then all his attack dogs come in and just really show me how low many people here actually are here and why I have decided to completely give up on this forum and any public contribution to RF2 of any sort in the future.

You can start another thread on Redress as it could be interesting but I have never heard of it, I doubt you will get much out of this forum though going by the responses here. All my videos have been deleted (boring anyway) and any content I worked on that was hosted anywhere is also all gone for this or rf1 and I will not give any help or advice to anyone as this sort of attitude is accepted on the official forum, so I have little reason to help anyone here again. I tried to find a way to close my forum account but couldn't find it so maybe Tim can just delete it for me along with suspending a couple others here for their breach of forum rules.

Are you having a laugh marty? Attack dogs for people having the opposite opinion? Opinions that you welcomed and asked to hear? You asked for peoples opinions on what you've posted....so you must have been willing to hear opinions that are going to contrast yours whether you like them or not and disagree with them, so why you continue to biker about them i don't understand. An opinion is an opinion...nothing more, so stop treating it as more.

So some people don't agree with you (and some do)....get over it...life's too short to hold grudges.

I think your original point of this thread with the question was sort of valid but then you seem to have taken it down a different path and it now kinda smells of retribution because of what happened on the track.

I didnt really take it down another path but comments such as those quoted above you and not all even aimed at me I see little point in. Debate on the basic issue is fine and thats welcome people will have their own opinions but whats the point of discussions if it takes this path and its even accepted on the official forum.

No point discussing anything here if thats the what some people are at and why I have given up on it. Its not really a civilized debate anymore and I really wonder the things going through peoples heads when they think thats acceptable or even within the forum rules.

Its only a few that have taken that path but as with everything else its the few bad eggs that spoil things for everyone else, I will just leave it to them to do whatever they like. I will do things just for myself and friends and have no interest providing anything that may be used by these sorts of people, id also much rather race AI then deal with them online so no huge loss for me.

Just ignore those posts then....an opinion i just an opinion...stop treating it as more.

Read between the lines, ignore those that are of no value or interest to you. Your not going to find that every opinion (no matter how it is shaped or given) is to your liking and vice versa.

As many quoted posts that you disliked in your previous post, there are many more that have agreed with so you have what you asked for....a varied spread of opinions (no matter what it may be).

Stop bitching about respect when you're the one chopping someones nose off first.

//edit never mind, apparantly you already got sand in your mangina and wet on a bit of a hissy fit. Well, good on you. Hope you find a better hobby that u don't give up after someone disagrees with u.

It isn't about disagreement, it's about the environment you are creating conducting discussions like you are doing. You're name calling, you're being abusive, those are against the rules of the forum. You can disagree without doing that, and if you can't, you should not be posting at all.
