Guys have you already get this bug? When I right click to open the menu in max it freezes the image in viewport and only disapear when complete shutdown max.

I have everything updated including max with SP2 and AMD drivers for HD5870. Doesn't matter if I choose D3D or OpenGL in preferences because the bug stays the same.

    Offical Autodesk statement:

Autodesk product versions of 2010 and earlier are no longer supported and are not included in considerations of Windows 8 compatibility.

My modest opinion is, that it's wise move to keep out Windows 8 from modding/gaming platform...;)

    Cheers!

I had the same problem with 3ds Max 2010, 2011 and 2012. The only version that doesn't have this bug is the 2013 one, unfortunately there aren't rF2 plug-ins for that.

I updated SP2 and Update 12 for max 2012 and it fixed my freezing issued when I right clicked. Might try to get Sevice packs updated and any other updates for your version.
