    heres my conversion of barbagallo i thought i would share with you all
    it was here now its gone was it here you know it was
    let me know what you's think and if you find any errors
    i had working billboard trees but for some reason they started to rotate around 0,0,0 axis and when i remake a tree it to rotates around the 0,0,0, axis
    load screens still need doing
    there's a few little gaps around the track i'm slowly fixing
    i added the new pitarea i'm still working on it

    This really looks great. I just did a couple laps to see it and I can't wait to race on it! thanks.

    i was thinking about adding the short layout and using the other new pitlane on the start/finish straight
    and maybe the long with the old pit area

    Thanks for the effort, but there are too much conversions already in rF2 and no one makes track from the scratch a part feels and tuttle and this is a bit worrying!!:(

    i would have to agree with ya m8
    i want all new tracks as well but until a professional makes them this is what i have to drive on
    if i didn't convert these for myself i would be still waiting to drive on them
    before every v8 race last year i got the bug to drive on them so i converted them

    I see here few textures from Croft 0.91.

    I have nothing against using my textures from my first track, but it would be nice if you had asked me for permission before doing this.

    i did use some texture to see how things worked how you got the writing on the grass and other stuff
    i can go back to the originals if you like i think i would have to change 2 textures lol
    textures and models are free game to me
    i guess you wouldn't like your tyre bundles i have on my other tracks lol
    but seriously sry
    i thought they were isi textures just with a little photoshopping

    You have plenty of textures here : http://www.cgtextures.com/
    You can also take your camera and make some photos as I did. (yep, lot of my textures, if not most of them, are made from my private photos)

    You can find few (yep, just few) textures at Croft 0.91 from ISI tracks (racegroove, marbles, crowd and bushes), but I asked Luc for permission before I decided to use them.

    i lost that site couldn't find it again anywhere and i couldn't find your original post with that link
    i really only used them to see how things worked its easier to use the original textures

    Ok mate, use them if you want, but if I could give you an advice, try to create your own.
    Take a camera, go outside and watch the beauty of the world ;) , take some photos, watch the lighting, get back home and try to reproduce what you have seen. I know it's not the fastest way to create your own textures for the track, but it's good way to improve your skills.

    i didn't mean to use your stuff in the ones i share with people here
    but they are the best textures and if thats how you get them my hat goes off to ya m8
    me i like to play the game not make it like old m8 said i to want a pro like yourself to make these from scratch
    i done this one last year i couln't even remember what i had done to it
    i just cleaned it up and added the new pit area in last couple of weeks
    i have been using the original textures on the terrain for the rest of my tracks as its easier for me not as much photoshop
    hey while i have your attention
    i had billboarded trees working on this track but i had attached them all into 3 groups
    when i started working on the track again i noticed it had performance issues so i backed up the trees i had working and started detaching the trees into more groups
    then they all started to rotate around the 0,0,0, axis
    so i went back to the one's that worked and had backed up and they to rotate around the 0,0,0 axis
    when i make a tree again it's the same
    the problem i use to have was the tree being on its side or upside down
    i can't find anything about trees rotating around 0,0,0, axis
    any ideas on how to fix this

    He wouldn't have a clue how to create his own work, he's even stolen your tyre models (as he wrote above). Only conversions for him is as far as his knowledge goes, but hey, I know nothing about nothing he says.. Amazing what a camera can do, or 3Ds Max for that matter to create his own tyre bundle.. not that hard.
