Hi, I've been trying to start the dedicated server with this ui to play around and see if it could be of any use. But even when the server seems to be started:

    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>netstat -ano

Proto Local Address Foreign Address State PID
    [...]
      TCP 0.0.0.0:54347 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 2152
      TCP 0.0.0.0:64297 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 2152
    [...]
      UDP 0.0.0.0:54297 *:* 2152
    [...]
the server does not show in matchmaker.

There's no problem at all with the server when started with the default ui=WIN32. It shows at matchmaker and I can join without any problems.

Also the only information I could find about this console ui is in the rfactor 2 b134 patch notes:
    Code:
    :restart_race
    :restart_event
    :next_session
    :next_event
    :add_ai
    :shutdown
    :boot <number>
    :ban <number>
    :move_up <number>
    :move_down <number>
Anyone could bring some light to this?

There should be no difference to running it with the Win32 UI. I have run build 134 servers successfully with the console UI and it was listed in the matchmaker as well.
So if there is a problem with the new build and the console UI, I´d suggest you report it as a bug.

    Cheers,
    Marcus

    Thanks, for your reply Marcus.

Before I report a bug I want to discard my own fault in the setup of the server or the launch method. So if anyone could report this console ui as working/non-working with the current 198 build, please do so.
