I'm from Spain. Do you mean this file? C:\Users\Jose\Documents\rFactor2\UserData\player\multiplayer.ini What lines must I modify? I have this: WAN Query Port="44297" // range is 1025 - 65535 WAN Join Port="54297" // range is 1025 - 65535 LAN Query Port="44297" // range is 1025 - 65535 LAN Join Port="54297" // range is 1025 - 65535 HTTP Server Port="64297" // range is 1025 - 65535. Ahh, sorry, used Google translator and thought I read the detected language was French, but I have looked at the wrong place. I am not familiar with Avast, but maybe it is causing your issue. See if you can explicitly disable the protection in its configuration program first. You change WAN Join Port and forward it in your router as UDP. Then you add 50 to the value of WAN Join Port and forward it as TCP. Ithink you can leave the HTTP server port as is, but you can change that as well, just remember to adjust your forwardings accordingly.
I don't understand jiji sorry. You can explain more basically? My english is very bad and I don't know if you mean change in multiplayer.ini file or in router config.
You need to change both, your Multiplayer.ini and the forwardings in your router. Say you change WAN Join Port to 63297 in Multiplayer.ini, then you´d need to change your forwardings in the router, so UDP port 63297 and TCP port 64347 are forwarded to your PC.
I have disabled Avast Free protection, added UDP port 63297 in router, added TCP port 64347 in router, and changed WAN Join Port 54297 to 63297 in multiplayer.ini and now I get "Server connection failed" when I try to enter in the server list of the game. In dedicated window says "Server added successfully" and Practice 1 session starts correctly.
