    Hi Alles, it's a nice work, but I have a little issue with Darche cockpit, I use a fixed FOV at 54, and with this the driver head is not good placed, I can see a part of the driver Torso :) ... it's OK with standard FOV, but I play with 3D vision, so I use always the same FOV for a realistic view.

    The driver is completly same as on other cars, thought the position of driver is very higher than on other cars as the cockpit is really small from roof side. Ive tested few other settings and this one came the best out.

    Yeah ISI cars are usually lacking bit more of reflections than our cars. I will have to check what to do and in what way to solve this.

    Is the AM supposed to have the cockpit? I deleted the old mod. Installed all the mods that were sent in the update today and still have no cockpit in the AM. Shows version 1.0 in rf2 mod manager.

    Thanks Ales, I hope you find an easy way that doesn't kill your time. Maybe I'm oversensitive but all the nice colors are basically muddled up now with sky reflections... not a problem when actually racing, but from external it quite spoils the view. I'm half temtped to roll back the build number but LeMans '91 never looked so good before this auto HDR.

    I promise when all is done you get another 10 from me for the EGT just to reward the increased effort :)


    Nhra, nope, the AM cockpit is still being worked on, but not too much longer now.

    Also like we spoke about, the rims are very reflective too all of a sudden... They're all chrome lol

    You can expect another tenner from me as well :)

    EDIT: Ok. I read the first post. I see the Darsche got cockpit. :)

    What happened with the engine sound of the Darche?! I used to drive the car just because I loved the sounds, but now it sounds like it doesn't reach its max rpm! Something happened with the "natural rpm"? Now the pitch is even lower than the pitch in GTR2's Porsche GT2 RS.

    Yeah and the gearbox noise is broken too... it's gone in 5 and 6th gear :)

    This is what I mean, with a FOV to 54 in cockpit view:

    It's OK with other cars, but with Darche you can see the torso in the bottom :) ...

    Nothing on sounds was changed and no engine values were changed on this car since last version.

    To say again. We only added Darche cockpit and AM engine fix and nothing else on physics or sounds.

    Thx for pointing me such stuff out thought, we will take a look into it and ill check last rf2 build updates if there are things that could affect this.

    Shouldn't think so as they don't know they are linked afaik. I just installed all the cars then the sound and all was ok. (I'd recommend uninstalling and deleting the previous versions also to stop any file conflicts).

    No, you dont even need to install all cars BUT the URD_sounds.rfcmp is a must, there are generic sounds inside, some cars use more of them, some less but all use something from there.

    FOV 27 on triple screen, multiview, I find the Porsche's cockpit a little too to the right of my screen. Really enjoying this car and looking forward to the Ferrari's :cool:

    Yes the default seat position should be set forwards about 140

    Not sure why if nothing was changed but I agree the Darche sounds different. Not as good. First thing I noticed in cockpit besides the obvious misalignment.
