    Hey Ales,
    i'm not owning this mod yet, but from the video of Wajdi i can tell, that the sound of the darche is not really alike to the real "darche" ( ;) ) in my opinion.
    Have a look at the following video.

    I know, it's the 997, but this is a very good example of how a darche should sound like. The enginge of your mod sounds a bit too muffled and it's missing that sound of vibrating metal, if you know what i mean.
    Also the "clunks" when shifting are overdone in my opinion.

    Will there be done more work on the sounds? I'm looking forward to purchasing your mod, once i find the time to really use RF2 again :p and a good darche sound is very important to me!

    I will wait to the cockpit be implemented to drive the Darche! I feel disoriented driving with the all-black cockpit!;)

    GTclub i thought that too, quite off putting, but if you move you seat forward it hardly notices. Cant wait for cockpits, as i only use this view. :)

    The same thing happens here, I almost prefer to wait for the delivery of the car a little more, but with something in the cabin, I find it annoying to try it in black.

    The Darche seems fantastic, very dibertido and unforgiving a fault, maybe feel the road bumps too strong ....... is my impression.
    The sound is not whether it is of the "Darche" real in the cabin but I like a lot.

    Just treid the new Bayro and you say Ales that the only difference is the chassis flex right? the Black one feels good handling wise, but the white cars ffb is much better imo. Although the ffb on the new black car feels better than the last black car i still feel there is some sort of centering spring going on or something, and i dont use that in profiler what so ever. The white car ffb feels very good on my T500, but the car has no chassis flex. :)

    Yes, only the chassis flex. FFB i can probably adjust more. You guys just need to tell me if its to strong or to soft and if its alot stronger than whites cars than i have some idea. I had some problems with my wheel here and couldnt get it right with black one.

    I've been waiting for a Por... I mean Darche, for rF2. I'm definitely interested when cockpit and sound are finished :)
    I like the T5 series engine sound, so I expect that you can achieve something good for this mod too.

    I dont think either are to strong or weak, they both feel on par with isi ffb imo, its just i feel the white car has much more detailed ffb, the black car has some sort of a more constant force numbing out the little details you get from the road. Couldnt you just copy and paste the white car ffb to the black car?

    Thanks Ales, the Darche drives really nice. In the replays I noticed the gas pedal is always a little pressed, like 5% even when it's not. I've only seen this on the Darche, the rest of the cars I've tried don't have this issue.

    Also I would really like to have an option to set the camera on the bonnet instead of on the roof, just like an other mod. Same goes for the T5 cars ;-)

    Hi Ales,

    the reduced front downforce on the Bayro makes the car fell a bit more heavy and sluggish, not so much fun to drive like in V1.1 but maybe i can handle it with more setup adjustments.
    Also the laptimes (related to silverstone) was a bit more realistic with V1.1 because V1.2 lost around 1-2 sec of performance, but i guess you and your internal testers will balance that well later on...
    For now the Bayro and the Darche are halfway good balanced, the AI and me can reach nearly the same times with both cars.

    All in all i´m pretty happy with what you offer us for now and it makes fun to test you w.i.p. stuff. Keep up your nice work...

    OK, Now the black car feels better and it is fun to drive. But the rear mirrow is still a showstopper for me. It is definite better than before, but looks more like a compromise instead of correct solution. If i look at avaible pictures imho the rollcage seem to be higher in real life and maybe a bit skinnier in front. So the rear mirror position in real life is much more practical, and should be also in sim.
    The darche feels nice.

    Its the same setting but diferent suspension file-chassis flex now that gives you back diferent ffb than the old suspension file. This just needs to be adjusted. I think i could add ffb settings into upgrades and everybody can make there own setting there. Or atleast we can find that way more easy what is best setting. In rF1 i would simply drop you guys new HDV here and you would put it into the car folder. Now its bit more complicated with that on rF2.

    Format/Setup
    The format is set to allow all aids and force nothing (for all to play) and is setup as 40mins Practice, 10mins Qually, 10 Lap Race (so the rotation moves quick enough).

    Live Timing / Stats
    The server also has live timing and stats on so you can see whats going on. http://live.simautosport.com/livetiming/DashBoard.aspx

    Let me know any feedback, changes etc. But hopefully it will get us on track together. I will update the server asap once new releases become available.

    Hi Slamfunk3,

    I think for the next couple of weeks we should keep it the URD mod's only so that people can drive and provide feedback to help Ales build the mod. Once the 4 cars are released I can add various other cars to make the field wider although as it stands I think the ISI Vette is quite a bit quicker (would need to double check). Ultimately it's not my decision, I will await Ales to have his say. Alternatively I could look at providing a second server but with all the ISI GT cars & Enduro X cars what do you guys think?

    I guess if the guys want it could be added for now and we can change it later when we have our version done.
