I have a need for the Historics 1.48 ???? Why I don't know but the mod won't load until I get those..Eve,Sparks and Bt20 Go figure
I found it....the Historics 1.49 actually had the 1.48 files in it that the mod needed...... thanks for this thread. It's a life saver!!!!!
Added the newly separated ISI cars: ISI Renault Megane Trophy 2009 v1.44 (ISI) ISI Renault Formula 3.5 2010 v1.41 (ISI) ISI Nissan GTR 2011 v1.43 (ISI) ISI Nissan 370z 2012 v1.43 (ISI) ISI Mercedes SLS Safety Car 2012 v1.43 (ISI)
I have corrected it ... it should be noted that I haven't been removing the earlier versions from the torrent so .3 is in there also. I haven't decided if I should remove the earlier versions... Its not like they really hurt anything being in there and some folk might need the earlier version.... thoughts?
Skip Barber v1.46 and v1.00 are missing. I do not understand keeping the old packages, space would be better spent adding the current sample and lite packages. If you keep old packages some people are always going to download them unawares they are not required thus lowering the seeding for other files.
honestly, the better solution would be to have a site that would accept car and track posts from their authors for download. I toyed with the idea of making one, but am to lazy to do it. That and hosting is not cheap I could host it at my house I guess and provide the downloads via torrent ... still leaves the lazy problem
Yeah better if someone with dedicated server did but thanks for the effort. I would like to see torrents for. 1. Add on Cars ( current versions ) 2. Add on Tracks ( current versions ) 3. ISI Torrent ( all current ISI content only ) 4. Community Torrent ( skins, setups, realroad, HDR, etc. ) 5. ISI Torrent ( all old ISI content ) Not really sure what use this would have though. Everything to have authors permission to add to torrent. No outright rips or cross conversion. Trial Payware is acceptable no use fighting it anymore.
that would make it easier - with author permission would mean that the author would have to submit the content to you for inclusion - it sucks trying to maintain this vehicle torrent because you have to search around looking for the files for inclusion ... probably why the track guy stopped maintaining his torrent. People need to warm back up to rfactor central me thinks... You only have to pay if you want to do their "1 click" install bullsh*t ... They have an rfactor2 section...
That right there is one of the better reasons to use torrents. Think how many mod files have been lost through the years with dead links, closed sites. Having sites and file sharers with their rules and limitations as the main source of content in 2013 is akin to using email as your primary community/social tool still.
