I was having this issue last night when the build was first released (the same issue others are reporting). I put it down to the update server being overloaded so I simply downloded the Lite version and installed it over the top of my existing installation and it worked fine, I would suggest trying that.

Getting the error in my Manage Mods saying I am missing "virtual cmp rFactor2 UI v 1.0d" This affects our leagues rfmod only and it can not be installed. This occurs after updating to 198 thru the game or performing a clean install. All other mods install, game works fine. Do we need to make a new rfmod with this version of rf2? Thanks, Bailey
I want to try this with 3x 6970 as two are not enough for this resolution. Hope i can manage it with these cards. i didnt manage to update first time(couple retry),next day same hmm.. isi is there some problems with AU??
One nights sleep and look what happened, this comment made my morning "all your posts have been negative except one, we thought you were ill that day" This hasn't been the most positive build by the looks of it ???? I think I'll wait a bit before installing.
It's a great build. Whole discussion about it being good/bad is about spray. Some just don't like the fact it is unfinished and they need to wait till it gets closer to finished state. I'm on the side of guys that see the fact it is unfinished but doesn't bother that much because I know when it will be done/polished it will be amazing. Some people just don't have the patience. Go ahead and instal this build. Just don't drive in the wet with spray switched on (special effects must be off) and you will be fine. I can race even with this spray as it is now, no problem at all. It's just more difficult than it will be in the future when it gets finished. Baby steps, baby steps. Rome wasn't built in a day!
gave it another chance today, updated via launcher, but this build doesn't even start! reconfigured Graphics, reinstalled mods, but nothing, after a click on SP or MP Button i get a black screen with the loading mouse icon and nothing happens. I have to alt-tab out and stop the exe via task manager. Good Build, well done, nice black screen there!!!
