Hi, Gerald, new Build is out and I noticed this: "Fixed a few things with the Internals Plugin weather interface, and added a new option to apply cloudiness instantly."
Plugin 2.3.0 Available (only plugin have been updated) - Now the cloudiness is managed Note: - The cloudiness is "immediatly" applied (when starting a new session or it is the first time you send a weather info to the plugin) - In any other case i let the game making transition to clodiness change (else it would be very disturbing for drivers - sky would be fully regenerated at each weather update) - so the rF2 algorhytme can take several minute (10/15 min) to go from a clear sky to a heavy loaded sky INFO: Now the plugin can be used on the client side (the game do not frezze any more)
I knew the updated plugin would be available when I'd be home from work. Thanks, Gerald, much appreciated!
Thnx, updated the server after long time. Had crash after updated to build 906, after applying this fix everything works fine again
I have installed the plugin / server on install A. But i have also install B an C running in the same time (B and C are without real weather), but then the realweather.exe is crashing when i try to start it. o damn, that was the problem indeed. So why is the proces itself (Service weatherserver.exe) not killed when you close the program?
to really close it you need to do it from the task bar context menu. I designed it to act as a "Server", so once configured you don't whant it stay visible on screen and be visible in the menu bar. So your action have only closed the administration graphical interface
Thanks for this great app Gerald! New location (i think) <Location name="Interlagos" inProfiles="1"> <Providers> <Provider id="1"> <Parameters> <Parameter name="Location" value="BRXX0232"/> </Parameters> </Provider> <Provider id="2"> <Parameters> <Parameter name="Longitude" value="-23.6991193"/> <Parameter name="Latitude" value="-46.6953795"/> </Parameters> </Provider> </Providers> <Directories> <Directory path="Interlagos_GP"/> <Directory path="Saopaulo"/> </Directories> </Location> Enjoy!
I'm having problems collecting the data. The "providerInProseccDialog" windows comes up, and says "Information: This provider works for earlier date and forecast. Collect weather data for 18-12-2014 00:00:00 http://uk.weather.com/weather/almanacHourly-USCT0105:1:SP?day=12" And then nothing els happens... please help
Does the wind direction and speed have any effects on laptime and setup? Add : 173 API calls is too many for free package. Just got an email from them.
The wind does not have those effects.mauy be one day but not today. If you have the same key used for meto and radar indeed it will be too much. Or if you have several instance running using the same key
Thanks again for this great tool Gerald! The code for Estoril wasn't working so this is for Lisboa right next door. <Location name="Portugal" inProfiles="1"> <Providers> <Provider id="1"> <Parameters> <Parameter name="Location" value="POXX0016"/> </Parameters> </Provider> <Provider id="2"> <Parameters> <Parameter name="Longitude" value="-9.3950582"/> <Parameter name="Latitude" value="38.750558"/> </Parameters> </Provider> </Providers> <Directories> <Directory path="Portugal_F35"/> <Directory path="Portugal_Gp"/> <Directory path="Portugal_Gt"/> </Directories> </Location>
Is there any way to avoid rain intensity increase and decrease in every call? In Hungary I had a race with one lap 20%, next lap 28%, next lap 10%, and so on... The smooth is on 90 seconds.
