For now rF2 does not implement a right sky coverage when setting it from a plugin. It is a know issue. Unfortunatly i have no date for a fix on this from ISI.
Sometimes the console gives this error: "Unexpected Error: Parameter is not valid." What is related to?
In which tool did you have it, and how it is displayed ? you can provide a screenshot if it is simpler (don't forget to hide your API key in this case). Thanks
Ok. It is when the web site provide me a data in an unexpected format. For example, i except a number and i collect a string (number and prefix for exemple) I will look to check if some data have changed from the API. Thanks for the info.
Ok, it seems that api.wunderground.com encounter difficulties with radar image, regularly if i put in the browser the radar URL, the web site provide me an image only 1 on 10 times.
It seems that it is when asking for Sattelite info, please uncheck "Include Sattelite info (cloud)" and see if the error message disapear. From my side, if i can do something for satellite, or if it is only a bug from the website. EDIT: Web Site bug confirmed. The same issue (no image generated) when using URLs example from web site. (in fact the issue is when collecting Satellite AND Radar info)
I have the weather server running in realtime mode for some weeks now on a rF2 server that is in "test day" mode (30h practise session, no other sessions). What I noticed is that the weather server stops fetching updates from wunderground after some time (around 24h maybe more). Is this a known issue? If not I will try to get more info about it when this happens. My guess is that it might be every time the server restarts the weekend.
Question: how does temperature offset work? It increases the temperature value or it increases/decreases randomly the value? Thanks
Hope there is a connection between the ambient temperature (which is acquired fr the weather?) and the track surface temperature.
Hi Gerald, it's possible decrease rain intensity when i use realtime weather? It's "rain intensity cap" box? Thanks
would it be possible to implement a humidity cap? We had the Singapore GP and there was a constant humitity over 75 and from around 70 on, the track is wet. Which was not true for Singapore, the track was dry for qualy and race. Thx
Yes, if one day the humidity will be managed fully in rf2 and not only an input variable for car physics engine
