    my wish,
    swap Shadows levels, LOW and MEDIUM.

    car undershadow's are most important of all, without them the cars don't look connected to the track.
    as it is now, Shadows LOW activates shadows i really can live without to maintain fps, but car undershadow's don't turn on until level MEDIUM.

    example:
    gt-r at toban (sitting in pit stall, alone)
    shadows levels:
    off = 135 fps
    low = 80 fps
    medium = 74 fps
    high = 72 fps
    max = 35 fps

    having to step thru a -55 fps hit before even being able to turn on undershadow's, it could be only -6 fps hit if the Shadows levels were swapped so LOW was for car undershadow's only.

    currently i run shadows off. :(

    I agree with this post, and I add this point, for me the shadows disappear too early in Full details, they will disappear when the lod disappear, not before.

    So I'd like to get the under shadow displayed always (during the lod distance visible) and at Full detail, under shadow and shadows will be always visible (during the lod distance visible).
    At this time the visual result of the shadows on track cam is awful ...

    Also, the undershadow should be visible at night too, and should be pretty much pitch black.

    True and the undercar shadow we use now actually doesnt really affect fps becase its simpliest one with quad mesh and small texture. It should be unlimited or atleast controled by us in gen files.

    If I am not wrong that's like in iRacing it is. Even with shadows disabled you can see those shadows.
    I could also be wrong, can't remember right now. :confused:

    Didnt tested that but could be as its completly diferent to other shadows and yeah that one should work allways, no mather if its replay or what ever distance. Its even darkest one and very visible even from distance.

    Hello,

    +1 for all that has been said :)
    Undershadow in day, undershadow in night, undershadow in high distance, undershadow all time :D !!

    and + for MadKing, with shadows full details, shadows must be visible when the object is visible, the actual "gradient" shadow is not so bad but it can be better with complete full shadows!
