Hi, my Logitech G25 ist normal detected after fresh boot of the pc and first start of rf2 and works fine. but after finishing a race and start a new one - g25 ist not detected anymore... no chance to get it work again inside rf2. only a reboot of the pc works. Just restart rf2 and any thing else inside rf2 didn´t work. rf2 ist build 156 / Logitech newest drivers any ideas? thx stefan
Hi, seems to be not only happen after first race. Today i lost the G25 during driving (input device change detected). And randomly the G25 works and some times not (mostly the first time it works). No other with that trouble?
Hi, looks very much like your driver crashed. Which version do you use, i have 5.9.129.0 from 27.04.2010 so a very old one, for my G25. Problem occurs after every single race, or is it more time related?
Hi TJones, I use the latest driver for the G25. I tried a little bit and find out that the Problem seems to be on which usb port my G25 is connected. in front of my PC i have 2 Ports on which i connect my G25 and my TH8 RS Shifter. In other games (e.g. Race07) it doesnt matter... if i connect the G25 on the left Port the problem doesnt appear... change it to the right port, the g25 is randomly not connectet... could be an bug in rfactor2!? Maybe was the left port the first under which i configured the g25 profile in rf2...
Hi slo, nice to hear you solved your problem. While reading your post, i remember some guys had similar problems with usb-ports, but with Fanatec wheels. I for myself, had never such a problem.
Hi Tjones, thx for your reply... maybe it is fixed in one of the nex releases. @clockit, no standby oder energy-saving mode is activated. In Next days I´ll try all my USB Ports (also the on-board on backside) but before I have to buy an usb-extension-cable
I think there is a misunderstanding, you seem to think of the Standby of the whole system, whereas clockit is talking about the power saving feature of USB-Ports, which can be deactivated in the Device Manager and is rumored to cause such issues you described.
