    Hi,

Some screens to show you the problem on Essington.

    Me 1 - HDR Off - GTX 570
    Me 2 - HDR Off - GTX 570
    Me 3 - HDR Off - GTX 570

    A friend 1 - HDR On - AMD 6950
    A friend 2 - HDR On - AMD 6950
    A friend 3 - HDR On - AMD 6950
    A friend 4 - HDR On - AMD 6950
    A friend 5 - HDR On - AMD 6950

IMHO, HDR is only good for screens & videos.
This effect is not stable, it depends track, time, weather.
If you make a race with the weather changing, you will have bad surprises.

PS : I tried to give a lot of information in this topic for another problem. No answer at the end.
    I don't expect more there.

This is not the debate here but you will lose customers with all problems with HDR, shadows problems, objects popping.
We are a lot to don't expect a full DX11 game but just a proper title.
Go go go ISI. Stay focus, be simple and efficient :)

    Thanks.

Précision : Default HDR in the game and of course screens at the same time

Are you sure that he didn't put any of Tosch's crazy HDR profiles?

Extract the attached file into "rFactor2DataFolder\UserData\player\Settings\Essington Park". In game select the hdr profile "essingtonhdrv5".

This profile works for Essington only.

    View attachment EssingtonV5.zip

This is not a solution but a work around. :D

    100% sure. He told me.

We were 3 on the same server. 2 (with HDR On) had the same problem with default HDR.

Thank for your help. Maybe my friends will test this.

But the real point is that the HDR is not stable.

Do you think each player will custom his HDR effect for each track for each conditions (sun / rain / night) ?
When you are in a race, with changing conditions, it is too late. You can't modify files !

I repeat : HDR is only good for screens & videos.
This is not an effect you can really use with changing conditions (except if you have a loooooooot of time and you can test all conditions before the race).
