as a beginner with rf2 i experienced the problem that you must have some tracks for some mods, to get them installed. since later beginners like me are unaware ofthat and track get updatet, there is a little confusing and a lot of time wasted.
so can pls can some one bring light in it? or if alreada done , point me to that post?
    thx

Talking of ISI mods, cars and tracks are atm linked together ... you install the mod and you will have the tracks.
Really adviceable to install all ISI mods, so to have all the ISI trcks.

Talking of addon mods, usually they are released as components, but there are few exceptions.

For instance the Lola mod is released as component (without tracks)

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7929-Lola-T280-by-PIXSIM-WIP?p=128812&viewfull=1#post128812

but online you find more often the rfmod version, supplied with six tracks.

Those six tracks are by ISI (current version) plus addon tracks (still in the current version).

You can use the torrent file

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7103-Download-All-locations-(torrent)

to get all the availble addon tracks, or may be you can use this thread

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7771-Lista-delle-piste-e-delle-mod-disponibili

which might be a bit unconfortable, being in italian, in order to see when a track is updated.

Soon or later perhaps i will open a "Track list" thread also in english, not sure atm.

"get mod" will tell you what version of which track you are missing - you then need to go look for those tracks - its time consuming yes- but better than rf1, at least now you can easily figure out what parts you are missinig. You just exit the sim;and any mods you need tracks for will have a list in mod manager - you can open that and your browser while looking for the right versions - very handy - -bookmark sites that have tracks for download and things will speed up for you-

Everyone has already answered your actual questions. But, we will soon not have all content tied together. It is a hangover from the beta, when we needed to know what people were testing, so forced them to test with what we wanted. All future content will be released as rfcmp, which are individual items, and we are in the process of testing old content in that format.
