    Hi, Im seeing that rFactor2 dont work like it will do, I mean:

    I have everything activated and high settings, Including FXAA and HDR, Playing at 1080p.

    Single player Race with 15 cars:
    Grid = go down up to 40fps (Without HDR go down up to 43fps)
    Alone = go up to 82fps (Without HDR go up to 84fps)

    GPU Load:
    Grid = 85% - 90% (starting the race with 15 cars in screen)
    Alone = 80% - 85% (in the same race, but just me in screen)

    Why is my GPU ''only'' working at 85%? Im losing 15% performance.
    And, HDR is only 2fps diference, is a bit low, I saw other players with a big diference.
    And, the diference between grid and alone is a big one, I saw other players with less diference.

    there isnt a CPU bottleneck, I have an i7 3770k with ''+fullproc +highprio +procmask=85'' commands, and his loads while playing are around 30% - 40%.

    When I had that card, it was throttling itself when it was hot.

    not mine::

    +-80% Load, and +-60ºC when playing.

    EDIT::
    Testing with Megane Trophy at Spa Circuit (the new one).

    low preset: +-75% Load and 55-85fps
    medium preset: +-75% Load and 40-70fps
    high preset: +-80% Load and 40-70fps

    (with presets I mean that the first 6 options that have low/mid/high/max options)

    Never going to work at 95%-100%? ...

    How do you know you are not CPU bound? i7 3770k is 4 core CPU so each core is 25% of overall CPU usage. So even if your overall CPU usage says 30% or 40% that could mean one core is working at 100% and with that limiting your performance.
    Also did you try if the results are any different without the ''+fullproc +highprio +procmask=85''?

    I will show you an screenshot with the CPU and GPU usage while playing with commands:
    http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/2120/screenconcomandosg.png
    And this one without commands:
    http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/584/screensincomandos.png
    And this one with +procmask=5 (only the 2 first physical cores):
    http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/7323/screen2cores.png

    being honest, I have +- the same amount of FPS at this 3 moments, but I prefer to set the 4 physical core to be more safe.

    EDIT:::
    It is something of the last settings, that can be change (No/Yes) I disabled all of them and got an fps boost, and 100% GPU Load.
    Remember before I tested with low settings, but I kept the last options enabled, and got 75% load.

    EDIT 2:::
    I found them, are the ''Road Reflection'' and ''Environment Reflection'' they eat 38fps and make my GPU from 100% load to 75%. GPU Memory isnt full (850MB/1024MB), GPU Temp isnt hot (55ºC). So the problem are the reflection, I will keep them disabled until they fix it ...

    Well spotted ViSo, I just tried this and I get the same result.
    Road reflections on - GPU has 80-85% load
    Road reflections off - GPU has 95-99% load
    I gain 25% FPS with it off, having never tried setting them to off before (who wants to drive with no road reflection if it rains, I don't).
    I've got a HD4850 so, with every bit of performance being vital, I need this fixing!

    question

    Hi Folks!

    ''+fullproc +highprio +procmask=85''?
    1st two settings are clear. But what is +procmask=85
    Is it possible to set all three in a row. Do i need a blanc between them and the .exe in front?

    FWIW, +fullproc was an option for rFactor 1 and isn´t existent anymore in rFactor 2.
    The +procmask option is used to "bind" the executable to a subset of (logial) cores. It is a bitmask in decimal notation, 85 for instance, is 01010101 in binary, meaning only the cores 0, 2, 4 and 6 will be used.

    Cheers,
    Marcus
