And yes, thanks ISI for letting another talent go away to a direct competitor team, good job good effortand now who will make such a high quality tracks Alla Poznan,?!(
Well, not to take anything away from feels as we all know he`s very talented but ISI manged to produce HQ tracks before with the talented team they have now so no need to worry. Unless you think the likes of Silverstone aint HQ that is...
Actually, ISI Silverstone is not as "high quality" as feels3 tracks, if you value realism. His talent is in the artistic sense as much as technical--look at the many unique details in the DTM track pics and in his rF2 tracks. Those are what makes them so special and feel so authentic. Sorry to say, but we knew that the trip to Sweden wasn't just to look at a friend's sim cockpit Anyway, it's a great day for feels3--he certainly deserves a professional position doing what he is obviously extremely talented at. It is a very sad day for rF2, as we have effectively lost the best modder out there (save for finishing this one track that he committed to and is honourable enough to fulfil his commitment even though he wouldn't have to under the circumstances).
Congrats Feels3. Too bad your talents will be (in my opinion) wasted on RRRE. We'll miss you and hope you can eventually get some stuff for rF2 out.
Competitor? Yeah. DIRECT competitor? Have you actually played their games? RRRE and DTM won't be taking ANY customers away from ISI believe me. Some of us will want to dabble, especially now that feels got a hand in their tracks but taking away? Don't see that happening.
Yeah RRRE and DTM are a bit wooden. But Bathurst is very nice. I think we are forgetting we have Tuttle and his Topgear track is exceptional ( when we getting the outer circuit ) We could see Tuttles influence almost as soon as ISI hire him with his artistic flare on Silverstone, Mores and LD.
Let's hope Tuttle does not tuttle off Congrats feels. All the best, but I feel we will have you back soon
Those pics look great! Think I'll buy DTM Experience just to see your work as it should be seen (and of course to support sim genre). To be honest I would have wanted to see him working for ISI too because rF2 is the best sim for me at the moment. However they got Tuttle and if you look at the big picture then I think it's better to have feels3 full-time at sim business doing what he loves and also get properly paid for it - don't you think? Blackwater Lake is also very different kind of track project for him where he can basically do whatever he likes and I don't think SimBin would see it as competing product. I believe they see it the opposite way (at least I do); this kind of project would make him even better so in the end it would benefit also SimBin (assuming it's his employer in the future).
I've enjoyed simbin titles in the past but am not expanding my sim collection passed 3 ( rf2 / iracing / AC .....although AC's a tad suspect as a proper sim at the moment) Yes I agree would have thought feels3 would have best been employed by ISI, But I guess they thought he would perhaps continue to produce tracks (for rf2) as an independent modder etc
