I would love to try that Ari, but after the last time i messed up my computer trying to run 2 builds of our loved sim i gave up.......i guess it's not given to all of us to test unstables and give and give constructive feedback along the way too

The above has got nothing to do with the sym tho, it's all me who is not capable of doing it. But i do agree on the moaning part of your point of view

 

I think the major issue is unfamiliarity with Windows filesystem, how to literally do things most of us take for granted like directories, etc.

If you want to try again, just ask. Some find it easy enough because they do this all the time and are confident in doing so.

I encourage those with a view and time to test different aspects to do so. I think Ari (f2r) sometimes hosts unstable test servers as well. The more feedback and test coverage there is, the less chance something gets missed.

I have been testing single player races most evenings to see how things are.

 

Gonna put up an indycar server later with the unstable. Server is UnitedSimRacers

 

Yes, -Fun2Race.net 12- and -Fun2Race.net 13- are running 24/7 unstable 769, take a look, feedback is needed.

Build 770 stable on the way out. Let the fireworks begin.

 

Just noticed it too I have heard some really good things are coming. Hopefully no big issues (have heard some problems with 3rd party content and probably needs fresh install to work)

Also, apparently you can't update from the launcher without an online subscription.

Yep, cant update from launcher without an online subscription. That's annoying.

 

They might have turned off auto-update because this build is so radical.

A fresh install is probably the only option for everybody.

 

It was said from the very start that you would have to do Manuel updates if you don't have a subscription so don't complain you want it free then you have to work a little harder for it.
