Screen Blacks Out

Hello , I bought rfactor2 2 days ago and I've been installing mods , packages , or however u call that. (I'm new to rfactor). When i click Single Player or Online Race I enter the game but Screen just stays black , all i can see is the pointer. First i read the FAQ and i read that maybe the problem was that i didn't have DirectX ... I checked and i DO have DirectX. I really don't know what to do . Before I had the build 134 and i updated to 146 and i think i remember that in the process of installing the update a message poped out saying that there was an error with some kind of file , but I clicked skip. Mods i've installed: Skip Barber Racing School ; Formula Two and the Corvette C6R GT2. Thanks Guys

Have you done "configure sim" properly?

 

No , i dont really get that. Maybe i should let a proffesional set it up for me. What's the refresh rate for ? What's the anti aliasing for ? What does HDR and FXAA mean ? How can that help me ? OH GOD PLEASE HELP ME

o.k so you have your rfactor launcher screen on your desktop? Click on configure sim. Take a screen shot of that.

What resolution is your monitor?

 

1024 x 768

 

click on configure sim and fill everything out there. At first have AA set to none. Have FXAA and HDR unchecked.

60hz if that's the refresh rate of your monitor at that resolution.

Make sure the DirectX and your video drivers are up to date to the latest.

Dude this thing messed up all my computers grafics , thank god , i dont know how i fixed it. It ok bro i know you were just trying to help.

 

Nothing has changed yet , i still have the same problem.

 

Your installation may be corrupt. Try working from a clean install.
- Uninstall rf2
- Delete the rfactor2 installation folder and any rfactor2 data folder in your My Documents folder (if any)
- Download the latest rf2 build from the downloads page

- Download just 1 of the packages - "1960′s World Class Racing" would be a good start
- Install rfactor2 and if prompted to update Directx, select YES (even if you have the latest version)
- Install the 1960's World class racing
- Run and reactivate rfactor2 on the Purchase Tab of the laucher
- Test single player mode and see if it works

To be on the safe side while troubleshooting, do all this with a Windows account that has admin access. After installing rf2, make sure you add rf2 to your antivirus ignore list and your firewall allowed list (see their respective documentation for detailed instructions).

I have same problem after install build 146 but no work with these steps (several attemps)
Only black screen and "rfactor2 not respond"
